About this house rental
This dock house is nicely situated by Buksnesfjorden, 2 km northeast of the fishing village Ballstad in Lofoten. This renovated fish processing facility, is today a great apartment for sport fishers wanting to fish in rough environments. The apartment is one of two apartments on the second floor, simple but charmingly furnished. The living room and the terrace has a great view of Buksnesfjorden. The ground floor has a storage room for your fishing equipment and for preparing fish. This room also has a sauna where you can relax and warm yourself after exciting fishing. A common laundry room with apartment 39224. The dock outside has chairs and tables where you and your fishing companions can plan your next trip. The fjord outside the apartment is rich with fish. An 18 ft boat with 10 hp motor and 5 life jackets is available for rent per week or NOK 800 per day. A Bellcraft self-draining boat with 100 hp, sonar, chartplotter, gps and 4 rodholders is available for rent. The boat must be pre-ordered. The boat is tied to the dock by the house. In the dock house is a fish cleaning table with running water and lighting. 600 liter freezer. The apartment has a satellite dish with many international channels, of which many are German. 2,5 km to a charming restaurant in Ballstad. 11 km to Leknes, the unofficial capital of Western Lofoten, with many restaurants and shops. Visit the many famous fishing villages of Lofoten. The Fishery Museum in Kabelvåg, has a big collection of old boats and fishing equipment. Right by is a gallery and aquarium. Free wireless internet. Big parking lot. Comfortable mattresses. The boats must be preorderd.
