    Great stay at Zermatt Youth Hostel! Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, and amazing Matterhorn views. The hostel is also convenient for exploring Zermatt and hiking. Overall, a very pleasant stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Need to walk 15 minutes to reach the train station. There is eBus (red bus and green bus) to get you here but the red bus has a sticker said no luggage allow on board (but i went in anyway, there are not many people inside). Then a 3 minutes uphill walk to the hostel. Additional tourist tax need to be paid when checking in. You need to take the bed sheet downstair and make up your bed yourself. When checking out you need to took them back downstair. There is no lift, I had to drag my luggage all the way up. Room are simple with locker and sink with mirror inside. Matterhorn can be seen through the room window. The room locker need 2 francs to be able to use the key. I asked the front desk and they charged me 0.2 francs for the physical coin. There is no shampoo/shower gel in the shower rooms. The worst thing is you need to constantly press the shower button or else the water will only come out like 3 seconds. The lights motion sensor is at the entrance door, so the lights will go out in the middle of your business. I have no idea who would come out with such a terrible design with limitation on water and light source. Breakfast are basic, bread, yogurts, eggs and jam. I would probably say the window view is the only valuable thing worth staying here.
