Rony, or it may have been Romy, who checked me in to the hotel, was accommodating, patient and genuinely kind. The room I’d booked was not the room I’d expected. Rony showed me the room I’d booked and another that had partial views of The Matterhorn. I upgraded to the room with a view which had a spacious terraced balcony. The complimentary afternoon tea on the terrace with views of The Matterhorn was absolutely fabulous. The indoor and outdoor heated pools also had views of the mighty mountain. I honestly felt like I was on my honeymoon. Since I was travelling solo, I FaceTimed my partner in Oz, so I could share the experience with him. The breakfast was the best I’d had in Switzerland with a variety of delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel for it’s 5 star amenities, wonderful views of The Matterhorn and exceptional service.

Amazing little hotel in Zermatt. It’s absolute luxury, the Spa is awesome! Location is good, close to the town centre and you can walk to both the main means of getting up either side of the mountain. Only downside is it’s a bit in the expensive side. But you get what you pay for!!
