    Great for quick 2D1N getaway. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk to the Butterworth ferry terminal and walking distance to Armenian St, Esplanade, and First Avenue. The lady receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Had a minor hiccup with a dead air-cond remote battery, but it was fixed in 10 minutes. Water pressure is good (though hot water takes a moment to kick in) and the WC had some slight stains. Overall, a highly recommended, walkable spot for tourists!

    Stayed 2nights.First night air conditioning suddenly not functioning in the middle of night.Was so hot so have to change room in the middle of the night.In a haste,just moved all my belongings into the room at 2am.In the morning just realised the sink was clogged.Informed housekeeping.Went out and came back in the afternoon and sink was not rectified.Called the receptionist and it took quite a long time for the handyman to repair.After repairing,it was ok then it got clogged again.Gridtrsted did not pursue the matter further for we will be checking out the next morning.My advice is for the management to check all faulty devices before guest checked in.It affected our sleep and spoiled our stay in Penang.
