Wasn’t clear in the Agoda booking that this is a staff-less hotel. There is no physical lobby and this proves to be a bit of a problem.
We arrived in Quebec City fairly late - 9 PM. When we arrived at the hotel we just had a keypad and a door that led immediately to a stairwell. Luckily someone was leaving and let us in the door.
Once we got in we had no idea what room we were in bc we weren’t informed by Agoda about the check in procedures. I googled the phone number for the hotel and called, and the hotel’s virtual front desk assisted us after some reluctance. Only once we received the check in procedures verbally did we receive the email from Agoda that we were supposed to get.
Pros: fairly central to Old Quebec and the St Roch area has some nice restaurants. Be aware St Roch is not as chic and as lively in the evening as stated on most travel sites. Hotel is very clean and chic. Nespresso in the room is a great addition. AC works great. Shower is nice and roomy.
Con’s: no elevator, and to find the ice machine or get more coffee is a maze. If you want extra towels or have any questions you have to call or email.
All in all not a bad place and not a bad location. Just some little issues I wished I’d known earlier.

Got a suite because it was the only room left. Nice location, very clean. Everything was good except I was not advised that check-in was to be done on-line; I arrived late (10pm) and the remote reception closed at 8pm which created some complications for me trying to check-in in the dark outside the hotel entrance. When I got in touch with somebody, they where really helpful and sorted everything out efficiently.

The ads should mention that there is no elevator. The place is best for young people on a tight budget. Also not the safest neighborhood at night.
