Red Coach Inn

We just returned from a trip to Niagara yesterday and I wanted to review the red coach inn. We stayed in one of the suites., the Trafalgar. It was very clean and we enjoyed all this little touches such as a cheese tray and drinks. The restaurant was very good as well and it was nice to have the breakfast included. Walking to the balls with super close and it was a beautiful day. Highly recommend this place.

Could not ask for a better location. Walked right to the falls from the hotel. Staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was awesome.

This is is best location you can get on US side. When I booked Agoda, Lancashire room was already booked and it automatically booked Manchester room where we stayed at the same rate but a much smaller room with one queen bed and a lot of AC noise at same rate. It was very clean though.Parking was free. But an extra *** each day extra was charged for something. *** for 3 days for me. Now the con part, break is not buffet. It is free sit-down but waiter harass you for tips. The first day the waitress made it known 3 times that tips were not included in free breakfast voucher. I did pay some some tip. The second day a different waitress seemed so rude, after serving brought a bill to my table with a discount showing same amount that I MUST pay "sufficient" tip. It showed $17 for a cheese omelet(total $34 for 2 people) , 1 white bread a scattered potatoes(just to get a tip).. Even Hard rock Cafe will be cheaper and yes I ate there. I skipped break fast third day , the day we drove back. It is a tremendous pressure tactic to get tip for a free cheap breakfast that other name brand hotels , you will get more food without having to tip.

Our room was in the "annex" which is around the corner. Lots of rooms there. Ours was on the first floor, facing the street with the sidewalk abutting the building. There is a big picture window there, so you are basically on the other side of the glass from people walking on the street. If it opened, I could have reached out and touched them! Had to have the blackout curtains shut the entire time. The girl who checked us in was new(ish) and very nice. Everyone else was snobby. Breakfast was yummy. Great wait staff. Surprised by how casually people dressed for dinner. Parking was another problem. There is parking on site, but not for all of the people staying. We had to park in an alley both nights. If you want the experience, it's fine. But keep your expectations in check.
