    I tried a few of the budget options but this has a dedicated check-in desk with friendly and professional people. It's not much to look at from the outside but it's a perfectly serviceable job done inside.

    We booked this room for NYE and it was incredibly overpriced. The shared bathroom was quite clean but the air quality in the whole place was horrible because there is a balcony that people smoke on right next to the lobby. There is also a KTV across the hallway from the hotel which might have also contributed to the cigarette smoke. Our room did not have great circulation and so the cigarette smoke from the lobby would come into our rooms. This concerned me because I felt we were sleeping with cigarette smoke stagnant in our room. I absolutely love Dadaocheng, so being closeby was nice, however not super convenient for reaching the MRT. Bed was comfortable and it was nice that drinking water and tea are easily accessible in the lobby. I still wouldn't return because of the smoke.
