I actually really loved staying at the hotel. The location was absolutely brilliant, less than 60 seconds from the tube station, also a pub within 60 seconds and a supermarket and quite a few other shops within 2 mins walk. The hotel was compact but very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the staff were brilliant too, they were very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I’m in London. London is an expensive city, this hotel is good value for your money. If you book directly you get free breakfast I believe too.

The staff at reception were very nice and welcoming and the location was perfect, which were definitely the highlights of our stay.
I had expected the room to be small after reading other reviews, but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite this small. The bathroom and toilet were also quite a squeeze. I’d say the room is perfect for a night or two, especially if you’re travelling light, but it may feel quite cramped if you have large luggage or are staying for a longer period.
Overall, the location and friendly staff were great, but the room size is something to keep in mind when booking.

7 minute walk from Waterloo Station, hotel next to Lambeth North tube.
Very clean, compact room. Small but had everything I needed. 24 hour manned reception was great.

The facilities were fairly new and the room had a double bed, TV, hairdryer and en suite with shower. There were some coat hangers dotted around and a safe. The main problem we had was that the room was very small and underground. We knew the room had no windows before booking but with the lack of space too it felt very claustrophobic. It could have been cleaner - the corridor carpet looked like it hadn’t been hoovered in a while and there were fingerprints and smear marks on the glass door to the bathroom and the mirrors. The air conditioning unit was very all or nothing so either sweat box or igloo to sleep in. On arrival we were allocated a room and given a key card, when we got downstairs there was a maintenance man outside the room with a ladder which we had to navigate around to get to our room. When we opened the door it hadn’t been cleaned. We had to go back upstairs to reception where they allocated us another room with barely an apology and another staff member chiming in to see if we’d got it wrong rather than acknowledging the mistake and apologising. We went out to enjoy our evening and when we returned back later the key card didn’t work on our door. My partner went back upstairs to reception again to get the card sorted and once again were met by inexperienced, unorganised and doubtful, mistrusting staff. Whilst we were in bed on the night time the lights randomly started turning themselves on and off and the electronic room controls for air conditioning and fancy colour lighting were either not working as they should or too complicated for 2 millennials to figure out… overall, the experience wasn’t terrible and it was okay for the price paid for 1 night but just prepare yourselves for things to be a bit tight if you opt for a windowless room and for a little harmless disorganisation and slight lack of consideration from staff.
