On arrival, very warm welcome from reception ring key allocated big building so directed well to the room bit like a crystal maze really but it was okay room fine clean TV work brilliantly everything spotlessly clean and the best night sleep. free parking is brilliant however just be aware you are on the roadside and so I would advise people to reverse it rather than to drive in easy just be careful when you’re driving out. I wasn’t expecting much being Blackpool and I stay in budget hotels there often for work and so I know the standard is very low. The room reminded me of a student let / hmo with a patch work of wood chip and old embossed wallpaper painted over hundreds of times. The bathroom was 1970s green and the actual reason for this negative review - The shower had no hot running water. I ran it for 5 minutes trying all settings and nothing. The pipes were not getting warm so my conclusion was that it had 2 cold feeds or something wrong because the sink basin got hot quickly. So I had to wash myself from a plastic drink bottle.. Now I asked for a quiet room, which is why I think they put me out the back but even this could not be met because the next hotel over was having a music night which went on till around 11.30pm BUT I could not shut the window because the thing was rusted open (upvc casement). Lastly the mattress was clearly old and I could feel all the springs. However I did sleep pretty well considering so I’ll give them that and the other good thing is that if you get there early you might be lucky enough to get a parking space out front as I was. The reception staff were friendly initially then the owner kept giving me funny looks because he thought I had stayed there before?! (Which was untrue) then it clicked that their clientele is older visitors and families with young ones and perhaps this was the reason for the cold shoulder. Anyway, if you judge people by how they look (I’m 41 by the way so I’m not an immature larger lout I was working in the area). Then you will likely get further bad reviews. I can’t comment on the sea view rooms but what I can say is that the drug den room I stayed in did not match the description or photos and was likely used for DSS previously. If you want a positive room then stick to your word or provide a working alternative as even for the low price this was squalid. Oh and lastly, there are so many broken floor boards here it felt like some joists had failed too, might want to get that looked at.

A wonderful hotel with great facilities. I spent 3 nights here and was given an incredibly comfortable well decorated room . The room itself was spotlessly clean with everything I needed and in addition bottled water and good choice of tea and coffee. I would highly recommend a stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I look forward very much to my next trip!

Free parking! Guess what only limited spaces so, it's 13.90 around the corner. Check in 15.00! Still waiting at 15.40 room not ready arranged a another room. Room down in the basement window at road level wouldn't close properly can hear the entire world outside all night long. Cleanliness, hairs in bed not a good start, carpet seen better days like the deco 1990 vibes dust over everything in the room Overall terrible experience 😪
