Arriving at the hotel the manager was there ready to greet us, he opened the bar for us to have a drink, and was very friendly, he asked if we needed anything just to ask.
The hotel and location was perfect for us

The owner is a really nice guy, very friendly.
My room was lovely and warm, the bed is very comfy with plenty of pillows. Great flat screen TV. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar etc and a lovely touch were the chocolate chip cookies and small bottle of water on arrival. The kettle was clean.
Plenty of clean towels and plenty of room in the shower cubicle.
The location is excellent, 10 minute walk to the train station, bus and tram stop near by, North Pier 5 minutes away, and of course the Irish sea straight infront of the hotel.
The owner has only just taken over the business but it has huge potential for success.
The shower water in my room was cool which was fine for myself as I don't like hot showers, but if I did I might have had a problem.

Breakfast was lovely. Good service and attentive. Good value for money
Slight lack of services available such as entertainment (but it was January, so I would assume more would be on offer in summer months)

The man who greeted us was lovely. He had just opened the hotel and gave us a bottle of wine to say welcome.
We was initially worried it was closed, however the man was so welcoming.

The hotel was a typical seaside place you would expect to find but it was clean and very comfy and the staff very helpful
I was given the wrong room but it was quickly sorted also there was a bit of painting going on but maintainence has to be done at some point and it really didn't impact my stay.
Rooms are quite hard to find as signs are not quite up.to scratch but as its just changed ownership so I'm sure that will get sorted

Declan it was a pleasure staying at the hotel thank you for the warm welcoming. Even though the hotel is under going some renovations I will definitely come back once it's all done.
The radiator was not working so the room was cold

First morning breakfast very busy and know place to sit they got a table for 2 and there was my grandson had to sit on my lap
Day 2 they couldn’t find our names so we sat in the window which was nice
They need to be a little more organised,
They tried there best

Location was good
I had a job finding.a table for breakfast. The first day it wasn't set up properly and I had to ask for butter, sugar and wasn't what I had ordered. The breakfast was cold. On the second morning they finally found me table 30. Very unorganised and not up to Daishes usual standard.

The staff were very accommodating. Storm Amy had hit Blackpool and we originally had a sea view room which unfortunately due to the wind was very noisy. Staff were very happy to move us to a different room. 😊
The hotel is equipped and more suitable for more mature people. If this was stated in the booking article I would have opted for another hotel which was more ‘family’ friendly.

Staff were polite and location was nice
Smell. Outdated. Bathroom not the cleanest and very compact.being locked in our room due to a faulty lock from the inside and having to get staff to free us. Had been locked in all night and didn’t know. If there had been an emergency through the night we would not have been able to escape. Massive safety issue.

Duty manager on shift (think she was called Ellie), was really lovely and so helpful. Great location!
When first checking in, the room we were given looked nothing like the photos, it was very run down! We asked to change rooms because I booked our stay on different photos. The duty manager was really nice about it and changed to the room next door, which was nicer.
Overall the room was tiny, with a very small and tight bathroom area. It was also very hot in the room, which made for a quite uncomfortable nights sleep (outside noise didn’t help as we also had to have the window open). We asked reception for a fan, which really helped with air in the room. We’ve stayed in many different hotels in Blackpool and I’m sorry to say but we’ve stayed in much nicer that also offer more in the room and all within the same price bracket. For that reason, we wouldn’t look to stay here again.

The location was alright as it was close to the centre.
It smelt absolutely awful and the toilets were out of order so I’m guessing it was raw sewage- could smell it as soon as you walked in.

The location of the property was good as we were attending the air show. The staff member we dealt with was nice.
Upon arrival to the hotel we walked in and the reception area had a fusty/damp smell. We got given the key the our room which was supposed to be a sea view double standard room and when we entered it was nothing of the sort. The smell of the room was damp and horrible. The room itself looked nothing like the pictures there was paint peeling all round it was dusty and the window was filthy and cracked all round and the window wouldn’t even shut it was very unclean the bed had several hairs on it and bathroom was so small and barely clean. We were very unhappy as we paid £116!! For 1 night and it was disappointing. We went down to reception and told them and they agreed it wasn’t a nice room they did change the bedding however we were not comfortable staying in that room. The staff we dealt with was lovely and understanding and said himself he thought we would complain as even he thought the room was a disgrace and he said they only use that room if they really have to and was shocked at the price we paid as he said usually it’s £50 a night!! And we paid double. We didn’t even up staying and decided to leave and had to make them a 2 1/2 hours journey back home and missed the rest of the air show. We were very disappointed and that room shouldn’t be let out to anyone it was disgusting and we will not be returning. The room we was given wasn’t up to any standards and was room 110 stay clear!

Close by to bars and night life.
Not bad for somewhere to just put your head down after a night on the town.
Old decor.
Uncomfortable bed.
Poor water pressure.
Very small shower cubicle.
Extremely long corridors that smelt of damp.
Lacked finishing touches, chipped paint, dirty carpets.

Good selection for breakfast, although we had to send our poached eggs back as they arrived cold. This was resolved quickly though My wife doesn't use butter but no alternative was available. Room was clean and tidyand had everything we needed although a bit cramped. Bed was big and comfy we had a good nights sleep.
Bar closed at 11pm on Saturday. Disappointing as it's Blackpool. Coffee shop was good but closed at 5.00pm. Unfortunate that bar meals were no longer available as they were before taken over by Daish. We would definitely have eaten in the hotel had this been available.
