    Would have been 5 stars all the way except the construction noise and probable bed bugs. On weekdays, the jackhammering starts at 8AM. The hotel claims it is next door and there is nothing they can do. There should be a warning on the website. I would have not paid for an extra night to guarantee early check-in upon arrival in Madrid if I had known sleep was not going to be an option. On the morning of my last day, I woke up with probable bed bug bites. I informed the front desk who gave an anemic apology and offered no suggestions for remediation or compensation.

    We had the best stay at Hotel Regina - everyone was so nice and welcoming, right from the moment we checked in. Anna showed us our room and the facilities. Breakfast was great and the location can’t be beat. We would stay there again and would highly recommend. Thanks!

    The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, which I appreciated. However, I paid nearly *** for this stay, and unfortunately the overall experience did not match the price. The room was small , I couldn’t even fully open my suitcase, and the hotel itself also feels quite compact. The so-called rooftop is on the 6th floor, very small, and offers no real view, as it is surrounded by old buildings. For comparison, I stayed at another hotel in Madrid for around ***, which was significantly better overall in terms of space, comfort, facilities, and even breakfast selection. Overall, not good value for money
