    Fantastic value for the price. Comfy bed. Clean. Fantastic pool area. Good breakfast. And the best of all were the amazing staff who looked after me after a stowaway scorpion (who snuck into my suitcase in San Rafael) stung me and I totally freaked out. The receptionist phoned the hospital for me, had arranged an ambulance until some of the other guests offered to drive me. And when I got back, the lovely Mauricio came to my room and shook out every single one of my many belongings to check for the scorpion and helped me move all my scorpion free things to another room. The staff let me stay until 10pm the next night in the area because I’d been unwell and in pain. A wonderful example of the kindness of the Colombian people. I will stay here every time I come to Medellin (and I’ve sampled 4-5 other hotels here).
