Eurohostel

Eurohostel is a pretty decent budget-friendly option in Helsinki. The location isn’t bad at all—about 20 minutes from the city center and conveniently accessible by tram, making it easy to get around. The room was decent and came with clean sheets, a pillowcase, and a blanket cover. The shared bathrooms and showers were actually clean and well-maintained, so no complaints there. They also provided a clean, fresh towel in the room. The front desk experience was just okay—nothing particularly memorable, but it got the job done. My only real downside was that there was **no soap or shampoo provided in the showers**, so make sure to bring your own. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Helsinki without being too far from the city center.

Eurohostel feels much more like a proper hotel than a hostel. The atmosphere is very calm, with clean and respectful guests, many of whom are professionals on business trips. The room was peaceful thanks to double-glazed windows, and the well-equipped kitchen is perfect for making your own breakfast. The luggage storage is also very convenient, allowing you to leave your bags for up to 24 hours. A few details could be improved: the mattresses are relatively thin (around 15–18 cm), and upgrading to 25–30 cm would significantly improve sleep quality. Also, contrary to what was stated on Agoda, soap and shampoo were not provided in the room—though a big thank you to the gentleman at the reception who kindly gave me some to help me out on my first night! Finally, note that the complimentary sauna is only accessible in the morning from 07:00 to 10:00; using it outside this window requires an extra €7.50 fee. Overall, still a great stay and solid experience

The shower room smells bit moldy. Could be cleaner better. Other facilities are good. Staff are friendly. Location is not too bad, can take tram to the central station

The rooms were kind of like dorm rooms, with a small bed, desk, and closet. It was pretty spacious though compared to other hostels I've stayed at. The free morning sauna was a treat and I preferred that to the regular showers. The regular showers didn't have a place to put clothes and had a funky smell which I wasn't a fan of. There's a kitchen on select floors. I had my yogurt stolen though so that was a bummer... Not sure how often they clean out the fridges, but after one night it was gone. The hostel is a bit away from the center of Helsinki, but very convenient if you're planning on hopping on the ferry to and from Estonia!
