Room was amazing but don’t forget to tell them your arrival. We had to wait for around an hour because the room wasn’t ready yet, and we arrived at around 8pm.

To be straight about it, this is actually a love hotel advertised on Agoda as standard hotel.
First of all, the entrance is so nondescript and in a seedy part of the street that our taxi driver questioned whether we had the right address. We had been notified at least by the staff that there would be no-one at check-in at our arrival time, so had to call for a passcode to our door key.
Access to the rooms was from a lift at the ground floor of an office building, which absolutely did not look like the entrance as shown in the hotel listing on Agoda. A closer inspection of the lobby photos reveals that they have taken photos for a “Ciao Hotel” and used them to falsely advertise their business. The rest of the photos seem to come from the Thai restaurant next door. There was no security at all to the room floor access, so safety would be potentially an issue.
We managed as far as finding the keys to the rooms (which came with complimentary protection, giving us an idea of the real purpose of this hotel) but upon this discovery, decided for our sanity and safety’s sake, we should leave and find someplace else.
We’re not sure how this hotel managed to garner so many good reviews, but again, a closer inspection shows that there are repeated reviews from the same person named “Yu” inflating their score. Unfortunately we were only refunded for the two of the three nights we booked, and this was not a cheap hotel. This experience has left us vowing to never use Agoda for booking hotels again, as they just do not carry out their due diligence with the properties they list.
