    A basic, but very clean and relatively modern small hotel situated up a small hem (lane) in Saigon city within walking distance of most interesting places.

    My brother caught a cold after taking a late bath with cold water (there was no hot water or hair dryer at the hotel). He had a high fever that night, and the next morning my sister bought herbal medicine to boil for him to drink. She borrowed a pot from the hotel to prepare the drink. The following day, I returned to the hotel because I had a prepaid booking through Agoda. The hotel owner greeted me coldly, shouted at me for borrowing the pot, questioned why we didn’t take my brother to the doctor, and treated us like we were troublesome. She told us not to come back and walked away without even looking at us. I’ve never experienced such behavior despite traveling extensively—not only in Ho Chi Minh City and other cities in Vietnam, but also in cities around the world. The hotel owner was unkind, selfish, and irresponsible. I will never return and do not recommend this hotel to anyone
