    Seamless luggage storage and reliable room amenities made my multi-day stay worry-free, although the bedside power outlets were a bit inconveniently placed.

    The location and the amenities are good with this hotel. I would definitely recommend it. However maybe it was just my room. The room would smell like sewage from the bathroom when I would get back to the hotel. On the other hand if I closed the bathroom door before I left, that would help keep the room from smelling. Hopefully this should not be the case at all for any other room. In either case hopefully that's the only incident and that's not apparent in other rooms in the hotel. Otherwise it has all the amenities you need, including an attached restaurant, and it's very close to the markets and the mall.

    We were charged an additional AUD $74 for an “upgrade,” even though the room we were given was exactly the same as the room we had originally booked. Then, when we were checking out, the staff tried to charge us for two missing cups. A staff member checked the room and told us that two cups were missing. We clearly explained that we had not taken or damaged any cups, but she continued to insist. We did not use any of the coffee or tea provided in the room during our entire stay, so there was absolutely no reason for us to have used these cups in the first place. We had a flight to catch, so we had to leave for the airport. After we arrived at the airport, she sent us a photo showing two broken cups, even though she had previously told us that the issue was that two cups were missing. This is very concerning and makes us feel like they were simply trying to find a reason to charge us additional fees. The story changed from “two missing cups” to “two broken cups” only after we had already left the hotel. Overall, this experience felt dishonest and very unprofessional, especially after we had already been charged AUD $74 for an upgrade that did not appear to be an upgrade at all.
