    The place is dirty and dusty, the toilet is very smelly. The staff is just ok.

    booked out a room for me and my friends during our short stay in Taipei. it’s a place to sleep but not much else. you can tell that they don’t clean the rooms much besides changing the sheets. my friend found nails in her bunk 😬. there are also a lot of smells going on in the rooms, hallways, and bathrooms which were kind of off putting. i would describe the overall smell as “musty.” the rooms are extremely small. we could only lay 1 suitcase flat because of how limited space was. washrooms are communal. they were fairly clean most of the time. the staff were great. very friendly. luggage storage was about ***NTD per day (if storing luggage overnight) which is fairly cheap. however they do just kind of leave your luggage at the reception desk which also isn’t manned between 9pm-9am so yeah you have to trust that nobody will mess with your stuff. i personally had no issues storing my luggage for 2 nights. overall i probably wouldn’t recommend staying here. i didn’t have any issues with the lack of space or communal washrooms given that ive stayed at other hostels previously. however, i think it’s worth it to pay a little more money for to stay somewhere clean.
