The room was adequate and clean. There could have been more towels, and there was only shampoo and soap. The room was on the dated side, but it was clean. The best thing about this place is the location close to Cedar Point. To note, there's not a lot to do after hours, and a lot of shops close.

This is my second stay here and it continues to be a good value. The rooms are older but generally clean. There is work to progressively remodel the rooms. The staff is great, friendly, and attentive. It's not luxurious (although it has a nice aged aesthetic) but for the price and location it provides a good value.

This is an old hotel but the rooms are good and the pool is nice. Just a couple beds and a tv. Full size fridge and microwave in each room.
If you going to cedar point why not stay here and get solid sleep for way less and use that money at the park.

If you're looking for a budget concios place while you visit Cedar Point this is a viable option. This is not a place for people that demand white glove cleanliness everywhere. It's a place to crash after Cedar Point.
The appears to have a large footprint but is very dated.
The things that matter are decent. While the beds are small, doubles, they are comfortable. The bedding appeared clean and fresh. The bathroom is basic and kinda small but clean and functional. There is no drain stop. So if you have younger/small children that need a tub for a bath rather than a shower, you may want to consider that.
There is a poop though we didn't use it.
Bottom line if you're looking for a cheap place to sleep while exploring Sandusky this place is decent. It's not going to win any awards.
But if you are on a budget it's a solid choice.
Don't stay here if you are expecting a Holiday Inn Express or better. There are lots of other places to stay that are nicer. But you are going to spend a lot more. As a single dad with 9 and 13 yo daughters it is a great budget choice for us.
