About this cabin rental
Modernized fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a new tile shower with a rainfall shower head. Hear the trout stream as you relax on the front porch or while enjoying a cook out at the outdoor fire pit in front of the old barn. Guest frequently see deer, turkey, and an occasional black bear at this private and secluded location on 47.7 acres. Has high speed fiber optic internet!
SAFETY DISCLOSURE - The stairs in the cabin are very steep. All bedrooms are upstairs. There is a sleeper sofa and one full bath on the main level. Please do not book if steep stairs are a problem.

The cabin was beautiful and the setting was very peaceful and secluded. During the day we hiked nearby on the AT. At night it was extremely cold so we stayed warm inside playing family card games. All the rooms in the house were comfortable. Cooked, relaxed, and slept very well. As advertised the stairs should be a consideration for anyone with kids or mobility issues - they are quite steep. The host was super friendly and helpful. Thanks Tim !

Excellent cabin, but must mention the difficulty of the stairs up to the bedrooms. They are narrow and go straight up which requires strength and balance. The almost vertical stairs require extra care when going down and you must turn your feet to the side to go down safely. This place is perfect if you are looking for a cozy place to sta. But if climbing or descending almost vertical stairs is going to be an issue, this may not be the perfect place for you.

Our stay at the Sanctuary was amazing. This is a rustic cabin with modern conveniences. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the games and the adults loved having three bedrooms, two full baths, a great kitchen and a washer/dryer. Tim was great to work with and the check in process was very easy.
