About this house rental
Come stay in my personal custom built home in a beautiful mountain setting with views over South Hominy Creek. The location is convenient to the best the Blue Ridge Mountains and Asheville has to offer.
Outside, suspended in the trees, you can enjoy drinks on a large partially-covered deck watching the sunset over mountains, while inside you will enjoy the character and comfort of a certified NC Green Built home. The passive solar design keeps the home breezy and cool in the summer, and lets the sunshine warm the home on cold winter days.

The house will be clean and ready for you to walk in and relax. The beautiful kitchen works very well for entertaining, while the indirect lighting adds the perfect ambiance to the home in the evenings.
There are three bedrooms, all located on the second floor of the home. The spacious master bedroom has a balcony and beautiful Hickory floors complimented by a beautiful queen bedroom set facing (2) 4ft x 5ft tall windows looking south into the tree tops. The other 2 bedrooms; one having a queen bed on travertine stone floors set in front of the homes largest window, while the other you'll step down into luxurious shag carpet where a comfy queen bed and twin sofa pull-out makes for a peaceful sleep.

The location is convenient to downtown Asheville, Biltmore, waterfalls, etc. The interior is nicely furnished, clean and in excellent condition. The pictures reflect accurately the interior. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, small appliances, etc. - all you should need. Large porch with nice view and secluded well from the neighbor houses. The only minor gripe is the somewhat steep dirt driveway with one tight turn. No problem with a 2 wheel drive vehicle but does take a couple of times to get use to it. The best way to summarize is we enjoyed it, would rent it again and recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Home. It's a beautiful home, with nice furnishings and decor. We would definitely stay again. Perhaps in the summer where we could enjoy the deck.

We hosted a bridal shower for my sister here. The house was perfect for our family gathering & was conveniently located close to the Biltmore, downtown Asheville & grocery stores. The owner, Jason, was very easy to work with & made the entire process effortless. The only recommendation I would have is to have an all-wheel drive vehicle for the driveway during inclement weather.

We loved our stay here and enjoyed the ability to spread out and relax in different rooms of the house. There were plenty of places to sit and watch TV - the beds and linens were very comfortable. The place was very clean and we appreciated that! From the balcony we were able to watch hot air balloons rise into the skies, which was a great way to wake up. We recommend this beautiful home and would hope to stay here again when we are in the Asheville area.
