Folk Boutique Hotel

Everything here was wonderful. From the reception check-in to the big room and great bathroom we could enjoy. Breakfast was included and it was always warm and tasty. We even decided to extend our stay (although in a different room that was still very nice) and enjoy a few more days in Tbilisi. Feeling very grateful:)

The hotel is pleasant, although a bit outside the city center (20-25 minutes from Liberty square). Breakfast is good and the hotel style is nice.

Our main issue was with the temperature in the room - the first night we couldn't turn on the AC and it was really hot, so in the morning we asked at the reception if they could check if there was something wrong with the air conditioning and they told us they will check and turn it on. In the evening the room was freezing (17°C) and we couldn't make it warmer. At checkout they informed us the AC can't be controlled from the room but just from the reception - it would have been helpful to know that in advance or at least on the first morning when we flagged our issue.

Very helpful and attentive staff! Very attractive lobby and rooms! Backs out into a nice park!

My room had a large window under the sink that had no curtains, so I needed to block it off by weighing towels down with various objects from around the room if I didn't want my naked body to be fully and easily visible from the street the second I walked out of the shower, which was very odd. It was also difficult for my disabled grandmother to get down the stairs to the room that served breakfast, as the elevator couldn't travel to that floor and the hand railing didn't go all the way to the top of the stairs, meaning she had to wait for me to wake up and give her my arm before she could go down to breakfast.

The location is very quiet.. and if you move by taxi it is very convenient. I liked we had a terrace and an open view to the park.

The cleaning was erratic.. the first night nobody came to clean.. and had to tell at the reception to do so. The lady at the breakfast was really unwelcoming. On the last morning of my stay (I paid a breakfast for 2 people), my mum checked out at 5 am and did not have any, fine. I had to check out at 8 am.. and came for a quick breakfast at 7.35, the lady shouted at me, saying no breakfast only at 8.00.. and allowed me to get only coffee (and still took my room number) even though the breakfast was ready… not even a piece of cake or anything small. That was super rude!!!!
