2025/26 ACADEMIC RENTAL AVAILABLE-Sparkling clean, fully air-conditioned, quiet and comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage, no summer weeks available. October-May available. Short walk to private Saybrook Manor beaches in Old Saybrook, CT. Enclosed front porch, new deck in private backyard. Open floor plan. Fully equipped kitchen with silverware, dishes, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. In-unit front loading washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Good wifi. Upstairs bedrooms with a queen and a full-sized bedroom. A private deck and backyard. Beach is a short walk to the end of the street.

We couldn’t have dreamed up a more wonderful place to stay than Cathy’s cottage! The layout was great for our family of four (kids ages 9 and 4). We loved hanging out in the large yard, eating on the deck, taking outdoor showers, and cozying up by the fire pit. The cottage is well stocked and extremely comfortable. Puzzles and games for the kids to enjoy. Beach equipment that we were kindly offered use of. Cathy is an outstanding host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed and at home. The beach is just a minute’s walk away - the sandbank at low tide was a real highlight! We hope to be back again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the fenced in backyard and deck. Great outdoor shower and a very comfortable inside. Front porch was an added plus!

The house & neighborhood was absolutely beautiful, it felt like home away from home. Cathy was an excellent host, super friendly & super attentive. Could not recommend this place more!

Perfect spot if you’re looking to stay on the CT Shoreline. Open space 1st floor very comfortable, with a nice size back deck and outdoor shower!
