About this house rental
Spacious Beach house within a 5 minute walk to private association beaches. Plenty of space on the sand even in peak season. Walk/ swim across the channel at low tide and walk for miles on exposed sand bars. Large shallow areas for children at low tide. Expansive outdoor area with shower(not enclosed), patio, awning, covered patio and propane grill. Centrally located on the CT shoreline in beautiful historic Old Saybrook. Close to Outlets, Casinos, Museums, Aquariums, Public Beaches and many other attractions. Hop the local Amtrak to NYC for a day.
White towels and linens are provided. Washer and dryer are on site for guests to wash linens and towels if necessary during your stay.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure the home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.

Saybrook Manor was overall a pretty good place, but it could do with a bit more of a fine toothed comb on cleanliness at check-in. Very much felt like a good place to stay in for a week with five people and wasn’t so big that you can’t clean up at the end of the trip. Ceilings are a bit low for the top floor but you can just banish the kids to the top floor.

Great location near beaches and everything Old Saybrook has to offer. Everything as advertised and air conditioning adjustable in every room was ideal. One improvement would be fans in the bathrooms. Thank you!

Our group of 6 (most over 60) enjoyed our brief get-together in this comfortable, well-equipped house just a short walk from the beach. Weather wasn't conducive for beaching. But we enjoyed touring Old, Lyme, Essex, and Old Saybrook and seeing how much the area had (or had not!) changed since our childhood visits to the area.

The house is very well kept and nicely furnished. There is plenty of room to spread out and an extensive DVD collection. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels.The kitchen is newer and has everything you could possibly need.This is a very quiet and private neighborhood.The beach is only a 5 minute walk but if you have small children I recommend a wagon or cart to carry them and your chairs. We definitely recommend this place.
