Well appointed apartment with everything you need. The apartment is ideally located near to the beach and town centre so you don’t need to use the car. The ability to park at the apartment is an added bonus.

Very clean. Great location. Bright and cheerful (Flat 3 not ground floor) Comfortable beds and sofa. Good facilities in the flat. TV in every room. Central heating if needed. Mark was a helpful and friendly landlord. Quiet flat with sea view you can see the pier from the window. Short walk one way to the pier and the other way to town center. Even the neighbours were very friendly. Highly recommend this flat. Two theatres in walking distance from flat. Westcliff and Princes theatres where we see two very good shows during our stay. Several good restaurants in the area. Including a Toby for a Sunday Roast dinner with a sea view if booked in advance. 1960s style Jolly Roger cafe at the end of Clacton Pier. Half an hour bus ride to Walton on Naze. I really don't know why anyone says there is nothing to do in Clacton? There is plenty to do.

Bath was a bit narrow but also had a large shower. Probably would have been good to have some instructions how to best use the shower. Was difficult to gage medium temperature. A radio in the flat would have made it perfect.

Fantastic location, near to beach, pier and shops. Flat very clean and well equipped with sea view and illuminated pier lights. To allow our Cavalier King Charles dog to stay and your own allocated parking space. Mark was very helpful, when contacting him.

The apartment was great (Greyfriars 3), literally 2 min walk to the beach, so very clean and was equipped with everything you’d want, every room had its own tv, there was free wifi throughout, nice view of the sea and the pier. We really enjoyed our stay, we didn’t want to leave. We’re already thinking to book for next year. Also, mustn’t forget to thank our host Mark who made everything so simple and clear, thanks again!

Trusted reviews on booking.com and couldn't have been happier. Great communication with the host mark and was easy to speak to. I stayed from wednesday to Sunday. Right next to the beech very secluded at same time and an allocated space. I had I bit of a nightmare on day one as I put my shopping in the fridge for the week and sadly woke up in the morning to all my fresh food gone bad as the fridge freezer was faulty. But within 20 minutes mark had Anoop there to check (absolutely lovely polite guy) and then after that called out a technician to look at it. Within 24 hours of me calling him he had a new fridge freezer installed as the original was not repairable. That's quality from the owner. Sadly I lost about £50 worth of food but I couldn't have asked for better service. The apartment (1) is spacious clean and tidy on arrival and had everything you needed. Nice big bathroom and a big ensuite shower room. Doors out to the grass area and a small side door out to your car. It's only a 2 minute walk to the beach. I will definitely be back if it's still mark that is in charge next time I come because it was really well kept. Only minors I would say is the bath plug is very difficult to release even when you no how it's meant to be done and the sofa is fairly uncomfortable to sit on, and the information about how to get in when you get here is a little complicated but if those instructions got simplified it would be perfect. But very minor issues. Thanks again mark, I will be back again Damien.

The shower in Ensuit bathroom did not work properly. Another bathroom should have a shower curtain so it’s easier to take shower

It was very clean and very comfortable, really enjoyed my stay

We were on the top floor which was a lot of stairs for my elderly mum but she managed.

Our stay was extremely comfortable and very pleasant. Rooms were perfect and clean. The location was great, especially for my 5 year old daughters. Walk to the beach and to the pavilion are within touching distance. The host’s communication was excellent. Mark provided clear instructions, made sure that we were comfortable and provided answers very promptly.

The only issue we had was negotiating 3 flight of stairs. Not convenient with 2 toddlers to go up and down from the top floor. If you are tall mind your head on the beams as the top 2 flats are in the roof / attic space.

It was great to relax in a lovely clean, comfortable apartment with our pet dog. The weather was fabulous and the location - close to the seafront and shopping amenities, was perfect.

Flat was gorgeous, bright and airy. Beds were super comfortable and we slept like logs with the windows wide opn. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Less than five minutes walk to the pier and gorgeous sandy beach and we loved the reserved parking place on site too.

We didn't like having so much stuff with us that we had to go up and down the stairs a few times bringing it all in to the top flat! Our bad! Also disappointed that there were no Moulton Brown smellies as shown in one of the photos! 😊

Ceilings were low in a couple of areas in apartment 4 although I’m 6’4” so would not trouble most people other than that couldn’t fault it

Property was very clean and well looked after. The location was lovely. Mark was fantastic in his communication to myself, we had issues with the pots and pans being non stick and those ones were replaced straight away.

Great apartment for a family trip, we’re very happy. Great contact with the host. Close to the beach and many shops in the area.

The location, the old building, the roof tops views, the convenience, the car park space. The flat was tidy (not very clutered) and yet everything we needed was there ( and more ) - we didn't use them but there was a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board !

Not a dislike, but a warning, the flat is on two floors and the access is not super easy (the staircase is narrow and steps are of irregular sizes and very steep).

The inside of the apartment was very clean and very conducive to stay just like you’re in your home.

Instructions to entraining the house was kind of confusing that 2 different occupants met together and was wondering how to get in to the point that the key with the other family opened the second door to one of our rooms

The location is fantastic . The apartment is spotless cant ask for anything more everything you need is there. It was so easy to communicate with host we hope to return

The apartment was just right for our family of 4 it was clean, had all the amenities that we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of storage space too. Communication was excellent. The lock box wouldn’t open and someone was blocking our parking space but Mark was very patient with all of our phone calls and tried his best to sort out the issues, asking the housekeeper to come round with a spare key for us.

Absolutely stunning apartment the host was ever so kind and helpful. I am looking forward to staying here again. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

The location was good for access to shops and entertainment. Drinks and fruit were very much appreciated and enjoyed - great touch. It was clean and bright. The kitchen is really well equiped

The smoke detector on the top floor (flat 4) did not have batteries. We were in three apartments for a family gathering. Flats 3 and 4 need some minor repairs to cupboard doors etc and flat 4 had a water leak from a pipe that was obviously known about as it has a towel around it. These things did not spoil our stay but are just a shame for the property
