A budget-friendly ski base with good space and a helpful host, but very outdated and imperfect.
Considering it was one of the cheaper options in the area, the value for money is genuinely good. The apartment provided enough space for our family, with a separate bedroom and a living area with a sofa bed that, while basic, covered essential needs. There is a kitchenette with a stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and cutlery, as well as a dishwasher with cleaning products, which was very useful during a longer stay. The dining table was comfortable, there was a wardrobe in the corridor, and the beds were prepared with clean linen on arrival. The balcony was large and faced trees rather than neighboring windows, which felt much nicer and more private. Parking was always available right near the entrance. The host was friendly, helpful, spoke both German and English, responded quickly and was usually on-site. The sauna was also a nice bonus and easy to reserve, even if not heavily used by others. Internet was not perfect but usable, and mobile signal was sufficient.
The overall interior is very old and far from modern, and heating was quite weak. Radiators made cracking noises at night, which disturbed sleep. There is no ventilation in either the toilet or the kitchen! Outside, there is a strong smell (maybe from nearby farm animals) that can be quite unpleasant. The walls are painted with a chalk-like coating that leaves white marks with even light contact. Cleanliness could be improved, especially on higher surfaces — there were many cobwebs near the ceiling that we had to remove ourselves, even though the lower areas were reasonably clean. The toilet paper supply was very limited. Kitchen equipment was minimal, with only four sets of dishes, and appliances like the microwave and toaster were stored in a cupboard and had to be taken out and plugged in each time, which was inconvenient. Promised items such as an oven and free toiletries were not in the room, but shower gel was presented upon request. The gym and kids’ room in the building are very outdated and mostly unusable, and the ski room is just an unheated corridor — fine for skis but not for drying boots. Sauna heating takes much longer than advised (closer to 40–45 minutes), and the pre-sauna area is quite cold if you are the first to use. Television signal was unstable and internet speed could be better, although still usable.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life - I experienced theft and cruelty
I prepaid for 11 nights. After check-in, I didn't sleep two nights and they unilaterally cancelled my booking and seized my entire payment without notice or justification. They cut off all communication—no calls, no messages. I went in person with good faith to resolve the missunderstunding and they threw me out with contempt, claiming they'd rented my prepaid room to others. I was left alone in a foreign country at night, homeless and crying, forced to find emergency shelter elsewhere. After hours, they texted offering a room. I politely accepted but said I'd come the next day due to the hour and the distance I had already travelled to find a place to sleep that night. From that time they ghosted completely—no room number, no key, nothing. They simply stole my money and disappeared. So I called Booking customer service, who confirmed I deserve a refund. After a queue of emails via booking this accommodation refuses to return a single cent, having already pocketed my full payment while renting my room to other guests and kicking me out my full paid room. They deliberately preyed on a vulnerable female solo traveler in a foregn country.

Photos not necessarily accurate
Sauna got hot. But we didn't know it existed until the last day, and the sign up sheet was outdated so we didn't know when it was available.
Not all the rooms are the same, hence so many different pictures for the room booking. I don't think our room was as nice as some of the others and it didn't have a view as other people said. The stove was in the hallway with nowhere to even set a plate down and no vent. No oven either, even though it was listed in the room description. Only one trash for the whole place and it was in the bathroom. All the cutlery and cooking tools, ect are across the living room under the TV. Same for the microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, ect: all have to be where the TV is as there's nowhere else for them. Several plates and cups were dirty. My husband drank from a cup in the night and got a long-dead bug in his mouth. One dishwasher detergent tablet and 1 roll of toilet paper for two people for 3 days. Heating didn't work well and it was October so it was chilly inside. The main line for heating was turned off during the day. Laundry available for a charge, though it didn't say an extra charge in the facility description. We didn't mind paying but after we put the laundry in the owner changed the washing setting to "quick 20" saying the regular wash cycle we put on was "too long". There's no way 20 minutes would be enough for our large load of muddy clothes so I think that was inappropriate, plus it probably washed away our soap when he changed the setting without our consent.

Apartment good for children
The flat was spacious and well equipped, there is a huge balcony and great views on the balcony. A childrens playground and playroom are available.
Not everything was really clean. Breakfast was not offered even though I asked before arrival. This left us with no breakfast on sunday because on sunday everything in the village is closed.

Great.
Wow, super location, fantastic property and our room was amazing. Our 2 motorcycles parked out front overnight with no issues. The property was clean and tidy but lol two fat bikers and one virtually empty roll of toilet tissue is no joke! Rock paper scissors for who didn’t need to use hay fever wipes for the clean up 😂😂🙈

Super clean room in a pretty home in a quiet village
The apartment is very clean in what looks like a movie made archetypical village home. The room was spacious, and our room had a wrap around balcony. We ate breakfast on the balcony after a visit to the Bäckerei. Despite the reviews stating that the breakfast served was fabulous, the breakfast was not available. The beds were comfortable and there were electrical outlets available on both sides of the bed. The water pressure in the shower was good and the hot water plentiful. Parking is available immediately outside the front door.
Of course, you never know what someone is going through, but the lady that greeted us was abrupt and unfriendly. Her husband (?), whom I met in the morning was extremely nice. The night of our stay was very hot. There is no AC, usually not necessary I would think, but still something to be aware of.
