Really a nice place, just difficult for us with no elevator

The location was close to the train station

There was only one staff member who knew what was going on (the two ladies I spoke to didn't even know what booking.com was or how to check in guests, let alone any other information), and there was no way to contact reception in the afternoon when there were issues (reception was empty and phone number didnt work). None of the staff spoke English. The wifi also didn't work.

Fabulous location, a few blocks from the train station. Bus stop immediately in front of property. Great hub from which to visit surrounding towns (e.g., Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano, Orvieto, etc.). Staff was gracious; let me store my bag after checkout before I took the bus to San Casciano dei Bagni that evening. Good variety of options at breakfast: cornetto, cakes, pies, yogurt, fruit juice, and fresh coffee to order.

We enjoyed our short stay and it was ideal for getting to and from the train station.

We liked the location (close to the strain station), it’s cleanliness, and it’s functionality (comfortable room). The staff were also very friendly.

The lack of elevator made it tough to get heavy luggage 2 floors up. The staff spoke no English but were effective in communicating through the use of Google Translate.

Friendly, convenient and air conditioned!

This little family run B&B is in a convenient location very near the railway station in Chiusi. The room we stayed in was attractively furnished and comfortable - it had very effective air conditioning which was needed in the hot weather. The bathroom was small but well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant.

We had a sweet Italian breakfast - it would have been nice to have the option of cereal or fruit as well. Be aware that all rooms are up a flight of stairs - this wasn't a problem for us, but it wouldn't suit someone with limited mobility.

Beautiful stopover on the way to Rome

Perfectly located for our purpose. We travel by bicycle. Safe storage of the bikes was no problem. Tip: The Grande Amore Gelateria in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi.

A clean, centrally located hotel for a short stay.

The hotel was a good value, clean, and close to the train station. The beds were very comfortable. Overall the hotel was serviceable and the staff polite. They didn't speak any English, used Google translate. We spoke a little Italian, so we got by.

No one was available to meet us when we arrived. The lobby was dark and the door was locked. We didn't have instructions for how to contact them. We were standing outside in the rain with our luggage. A passer-by told my husband, in Italian, to press some buttons on a keypad and he was able to contact the staff and access the code to get in. Once we got inside, a key was waiting on a table in the foyer and we went to our room. A staff member came to greet us and show us how to turn up the heat. The room was small. We were only there for one night, and for one night it was fine.

This property was very convenient and close to the train station and many restaurants. It served its purpose for a transit day stop over. The staff was friendly. The unit was clean. I liked having a balcony.

The bed was very very hard and the pillows were sub par. The shower was also sub par. There was almost zero water pressure, a trickle at best, and the temperature inconsistent. If you need basic accomodations near the train station this will suffice.

Room too small, kettle supplied doesn't connect to the socket, we had to plug the kettle in bathroom, breakfast pre packed pastries, Tea awfull, Orange juice made of concentrated orange, no privacy, bathroom door made of thin plastic and you can see through the top and bottom.

We needed to catch a train so we were unable to take advantage of the breakfast. There was a gentleman in the lounge when we left who was enjoying what appeared to be a substantial breakfast! We booked this hotel last minute and arrived about 10 minutes after booking. The place was all locked up but a woman arrived shortly to greet us. She did not speak any English but our cab driver was gracious enough to stay with us until we were settled. We had to wait for the manager to arrive, who didn’t speak any English either. But that was ok, after all, we were in Italy! This hotel was was a short walk to the trains, very convenient.

Our room was extremely cool, however we heard from a previous host that heat doesn’t get turned on until mid November?

Upon arrival, we were told our room got upgraded. We noticed a strange smell in the lower floors, like a wet dog or old rags being used to clean floors, so maybe that was the reason. In all, it's a small hotel with a lot of heart. The owner really wants to be a professional establishment by adding little extras here and there, like free bottles of water every day, a hair dryer that originally wasn't mentioned in the listing, letting us keep our luggage in the lobby after checking out, the bike rental place knowing the owner or the hotel and thus not requiring a deposit when renting electric bikes, good breakfasts, etc. No complaints (except for the smell when passing some floors, but it was just a few seconds until we reached our room.)

Good location

This was a nice family hotel in a quiet area very near the Chianciano-Terme station, which is ideal for anyone who wants to travel outside the town (I visited both the historical town of Chiusi and Montepulciano). I felt very safe there and this cannot be said about every Italian hotel located near the station which tends to be crowded with immigrants these days. The hosts were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was also fine. Concerning the room, I especially liked the bathroom: it was big and clean. I was allowed to leave my luggage in the reception however long I wanted after the check-out, which I appreciated greatly.

There is not much to criticise, only perhaps that the room was quite basic as far as any decoration is concerned. It is not a big deal, though.

Location was nice, close to restaurants and other businesses. The room was super clean, modern and functioning in a simple way. The staff was helpful if I needed something. The breakfast was good also; excellent cappuccino, some bread, croissant, cake, juice, marmelade...

The soundproofing is poor and you can hear your neighbours clearly. I always sleep well with earplugs, so it didn't really matter to me, but it's something worth mentioning. There weren't any views from the room to speak of.

Claudio is very charming and kind, the property is clean and cared for. Wish I spoke Italian, language was an issue. Conveniently close to the train station. Nice simple room for the night. Breakfast was delightful. Great cappuccino Claudio! Good neighbourhood with restaurants nearby. Thank you for the hospitality on my journey to Tuscany for an art retreat.
