    Great stay, super close to shinagawa station, easy to get to Shinkansen.

    Early July 2026. There is ongoing works on the road / shinagawa station / takanawa station. The nearest station takanawa which probably only take 5min to walk, can’t take the shortcut due to ongoing works. So you have to come via shinagawa station. Which is a really far walk. 10mins if you walk fast, but leisure pace will be 15min+. Only one convenience store familymart on the way walking to the hotel. Hotel is clean and staff is nice, english-speaking. Able to leave luggage at hotel after we checked out, as we have a later flight to catch.

    I had a pleasant stay. The hotel had good amenities, and the bathroom was spacious by Tokyo standards. The room was quiet, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The neighborhood was also peaceful and pleasant, with a nice atmosphere. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

    The thing about this hotel is the the location to Takanawa Gateway Station. Just 3 minutes walk for us, flat and good pavement with luggages. It is also near to a relatively new Newomen shopping mall that is not crowded. It is about 7-8 minutes walk to Shinagawa Station to explore more food options but not a pleasant place to navigate due to construction in the area. The hotel itself have basic and processed food for breakfast. Regretted paying for it. Coffee was good though. The bed for us was terribly soft and we could not get any good sleep for the few days before heading home. Although room is small, it was consider functional to be fair, and there is Netflix, Youtube which was a plus.
