MonteBello

Montebello is a very comfortable hotel and the best thing is Sylvie the owner who was absolutely wonderful. She really looked after us so well. She made a lovely lunch for us when we arrived and breakfasts were always delicious and plentiful with great coffee. Sylvie was always bringing us fruit and making sure we had tea. The hotel is located on a hillside of the town and is very quiet out of the town traffic. The view of the mountain from our window was beautiful. This is a fantastic family run hotel.

We were welcomed with great care, we got invited for dinner a couple times by the family and their friends. It was a lovely time in October when Goris gets very few tourists. The beds are very good to sleep on, everything is new and comfortable. We loved it there and would certainly go back! They even helped us plan our border cross into Iran, driving us not only to the border but crossing with us by foot, getting ourselves a new driver on the other side and having it all arranged perfectly. Great people there!

- very basic - mattress and pillows of low quality - breakfast terrible - I hate shower curtains which stick to my body while showering
