Kirch Hotel & Restaurant

Kirch Hotel was a wonderful find in Goris. The location is excellent with beautiful mountain views, and the family who runs it made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. They were attentive throughout our stay without ever being intrusive. Breakfast and dinner were both served on site, and in true Armenian fashion, the portions were more than generous — and absolutely delicious. It is the kind of hospitality that is hard to find and easy to remember.

Our room ran a bit warm and we couldn't work out how to adjust the heater. That said, we only stayed two nights and would have simply asked the owners on a third night — so it is a very minor note, not a real complaint.

Lovely views from our bedroom. We visited in December which is a quiet month and we’re the only ones in the hotel that night, the owner cooked us dinner and it was so delicious!! Comfortable room also.

As it was December and we were alone the room was very cold on arrival but they gave us a little heater which helped us a lot!! Also they don’t have a shower door or curtain in the bath so the bathroom gets super wet when showering

No card payment!!!! The price of the dinner was extremely expensive for what we got and for armenian prices (45 euros for 2 people). You needed to ask for the things 3 times because they contantly forgot.
