Petit Dilijan

Petit Dilijan is very well located, close to everything. It's also a quiet and relaxing place. You can see the mountains and hear the river from the balcony (two rooms have it). If you come to Dilijan for hiking, a path entrance is not far neither. The host Hrant can drive you to monasteries and lakes for a fee.

We stayed 3 nights at Petit Dilijan and loved it. We had a great room with verandah overlooking Dilijan. But our favourite part was the communal kitchen and dining area where we shared food and wine with Russian and Iranian guests - lovely evenings. It’s in a great location just a short walk up from the supermarket and transport hub. The owner, Grant, is very kind and always on hand to help

The host is extremely nice, he contacted me via WhatsApp right after I booked and helped with all the questions that I had about transportation. The place has a proper living room and small kitchen that are free for use. The guesthouse only has 4 rooms so it is always quiet yet easy to make friends. The host is also a tour guide that provides tour. The guesthouse is right at the center of old Dilijan, very convenient location.

Very conveniently located especially if you don’t have a car.

First, the listing photographs did not adequately convey how small and cramped the room was. I barely had space to move around with my large suitcase, which I was travelling with for 30 days. On my final night, I gave up and shoved it into the bathroom instead. Second, I thought I could overlook the lack of space because there were shared areas. No such luck. A travelling party had booked every other available room during my stay and effectively occupied the communal areas as well. I ended up having my drinks in my room, using the windowsill and built-in wardrobe as makeshift surfaces.
