Petit Dilijan

Great value in a very good location. Definitely book a room with a balcony - the view is worth it. The guesthouse is close to Old Dilijan and an easy walk either up or down the hill. Some great eateries around the place. Grant, the host, is friendly and responsive and clearly wants to make you welcome. He offers tours and while they didn’t fit with my schedule, I suspect he’d make a very engaging host.

Not a problem for me as it was clear on the booking, but on Google Maps it’s listed as a bed and breakfast but there was no breakfast. There is a kitchen where you easily prepare your own, or good cafes nearby.

Perfect location right next to the historical street and very close to all of the restaurants, the bus station (where you can take shuttles to Sevan or Yerevan) and large supermarkets. The room was nice and clean, and there is access to a full kitchen, well stocked with dishes and utensils.

There was some noise from the residence upstairs, and the host tries to get you to pay exorbitant prices for private tours with him (you can find much cheaper options online).

Nice little guesthouse. 4 or 5 rooms. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Good kitchen facilities. Appreciated having a laundry machine.

The room was quite small and the bed took up most of the space.

Very clean and comfortable room, nice place, perfect breakfast. Ideal location. Price for the room is O.K. I enjoyed it all.

The owner is over-enthusiastic. Some people will appreciate that. He charged me the double for a tour to sights in the neighbourhood. Check the taxidrivers at the roundabout. I didn’t do so, my mistake. For a transfer to Yerevan, he asked 30.000, while a taxi costs 10.000 to 12.000.
