Guest House Mary

The guesthouse is very well located, about a 10 min walk from the monastery. Mary and her family are exceptionally hospitable, we had a lovely dinner and Mary also helped us with organizing transport for our larger luggage as we did a multi day hike with our small backpacks

Everything was good, except for quite some insects / ‘mini mosquitoes’ in the area at the time of our visit. Bring a spray!

Mary and her family run a great guest house. Very welcoming, great breakfasts, and she offers very affordable and tasty dinners. She is an incredible host.

I don’t know where to start as some Many good things. Firstly great location - under five min walk to monastery in quiet family street. When mary answers the door its line your favourite Aunty station there with a warm welcome. As soon as we arrived she prepared a tray with fresh coffee, figs, cherries and home made pastry. What a great way to start relaxing on your room’s balcony looking over the garden. Beautiful paintings by her family members hang on the wall. The breakfast was a feast with Home-Made jams, homemade butter, breads, pastries (out of the oven that morning) and eggs and local cheeses etc. she organised taxis for us to Yerevan and then just when we thought it couldn’t get any better she played the piano for us. She is a hugely talented pianist. This is truly a home away from home!

I echo the many positive reviews about staying with Mary. She is incredibly kind and attentive, welcoming you as if you were family visiting from abroad. Her hospitality truly sets the experience apart.The dinner was one of the best meals of our trip: delicious, generous, and served in a beautiful corner of the garden. The premises are spotless and well maintained, the location is ideal for a comfortable overnight stop, and the surrounding forest adds a peaceful, charming atmosphere.Breakfast was also outstanding. Thank you, Mary, for giving us such a memorable stay!
