This was our second stay with Mary - so well sited not only for the lovely village which I recommend you explore on foot - especially in the evening or early morning when the Monastery visitors have gone but also for continuing into the Georgian border the next day. Mary is THE most hospitable hostess and a FABULOUS cook.
Nothing. I can absolutely highly recommend Mary’s home for the perfect stop in the countryside - ask for the rooms on the top deck.

Location excellent. We booked two rooms so had the upstair section to ourselves. Little terrace deck wonderful for afternoon sitting out. Mary’s cooking which is served outside under a grapevine if the weather is fine. Fabulous food, fresh and Armenian.
Shower could do with an upgrade, but water hot and plenty of it.

Mary was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us a delicious and beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend Guest House Mary!

Despite our late arrival, Mary was most welcoming and treated us like family. The dinner with the family was one of the most memorable parts of our trip and we will happily come again if we are ever in the are again. We were introduced to local foods and drinks and woke up to some cute kittens lying on our terasse in the sun. Even though we only spent one night there, we felt sad leaving.
