Buna Guest House

Liana and her husband have done a great job to turn the place into a beautiful and cosy guesthouse. The double room I got had a small bathroom but it was well-equipped and everything was comfortable. The best part of the experience was how proactive and thoughtful the owners were. They remembered I needed to get a cab to Dilijan, and when the original taxi driver they planned to book couldn’t make it, Liana’s husband drove me himself. Not to mention how conveniently located it is to most of Gyumri’s attractions. Finally they have a really cute cat which is an absolute bonus. 😻

Like many older properties in the Caucasus, the exterior needs a facelift. But that has no impact on the overall quality of the stay.

I stayed at Buna in August 2026. I can honestly say it was an excellent stay. The host Liana was extremely nice and hospitable. The garden was so relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s in a great location and I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it too. Excellent stay 5*
