If you want space, comfort, easy lake access with your own private beach, and diverse entertainment/activity amenities - look no further than OUTER BANKS @ Smith Mountain Lake!
This modern, four-bedroom home balances luxury with fun and leisure for the whole family. It is a beautiful setting for a secluded family vacation. You'll be hard pressed to find anything that matches what this property has to offer.
Most exclusively, you'll have your own large PRIVATE BEACH with beach chairs and umbrella. You'll have your own PRIVATE DOCK with sitting table, as well as a separate lounge area where you can enjoy a secluded cove that looks directly onto the open lake. This means you get a specular view without any public water-craft traffic nearby. Use of the dock for personal watercraft is available upon request.
The home offers a huge, open and very WELL-EQUIPPED KITCHEN with upgraded appliances, including a separate ICE MACHINE. There are spices and a variety of oils; everything you need for cooking meals. We have pots and pans, a crock pot and an insta pot, and a large stock pot. For coffee lovers, there is a Keurig and French Press, as well as a conventional coffee maker. We do supply coffee, however, feel free to bring your favorite blend!
We also supply all your paper products; Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Napkins, Kleenex, Trash Bags, Dishwasher detergent, Laundry detergent; all are reasonably supplied for you convenience!
The kitchen opens to an adjoining SPACIOUS LIVING AREA that looks directly onto the cove/lake, and is a wonderful place to relax in and of itself. It also offers an excellent indoor gathering spot for family games, music sing-alongs, or quiet reading. Of the four bedrooms, one is on the main first level, and three are located on the lower level. The two king bedrooms are very large and spacious with plenty of room for a playpen and not feel cramped, while the remaining two bedrooms offer plenty of space as well.

Many enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine, while sitting on the upper deck with the GAS FIRE PIT providing warmth and ambiance. After a day on the lake, some enjoy soaking in the six-person HOT TUB located on the lower patio. Of course, the beach would not be complete without a true WOOD-BURNING FIRE PIT where guests can gaze at the star-filled sky, and tell fun stories while cooking up S'mores. Many report it makes for a perfect evening.

We stayed the first weekend of October with some of our extended family. We had an awesome time and the weather was great. We had a lot of fun fishing off the dock(we caught some nice fish) and the grandchildren had a wonderful time playing at the beach area in and out of the water. The older kids really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. As for the house, the views from the back deck and the dock were both absolutely beautiful! Alos, we all slept very well with each couple having a king size bed and the kids had alot of fun sleeping in the bunk beds, so we were always well rested. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make all of our meals. The property owners are very generous with their "toys", so there was always something to do in or out of the water. As for the host's, they are absolutely wonderful to communicate with. You can feel their kindness and willingness to make sure everything was to our liking and beyond our satisfaction. We are definitely going to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful views, amazing house, and perfect location on the lake. We could not have been happier with our stay here. All of the amenities were everything you can think of and more. The house was spotless, plenty of room for activities inside or out, and the kitchen was ready for any cooking occasion. Tim and Michelle were immediately accommodating and lovely to communicate with in a timely manner.

Overall, this is a beautiful home in a great location with a very nice sandy beach, unbelievably well-stocked kitchen, books, board games, beach toys, TVs, great game room and very nice bedrooms. Except for the waterlogged SUP boards, we had no issues with those items. Our discovery of mold or mildew in the air registers and mold/mildew in the bathrooms, plugged air filters and dirty rugs indicates that housekeeping is not up to the demands of summer rentals; these items should have been caught by housekeeping and communicated to the hosts for correction. We did notify these issues to the hosts and they immediately began steps to rectify them. Were it not for the mosquitos we encountered (no fault of theirs), the dirty rugs, and mold/mildew issues, your house would be 5 stars and justify the rental rate. Fortunately, the hosts are extremely concerned about renter satisfaction and are committed to establishing open communication to address any issues that arise.
