Perfect hotel, excellent location and overall lovely stay for the Bruge Christmas Market

Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and very comfortable, the pillows and mattress were excellent quality as usual for a Radisson Hotel. The attention to detail was spot on. Easy walking distance to the centre and taxis easy to pick up.

There were so road works being carried out to the entrance of the car park therefore the directions given by the hotel were not correct. This is certainly not a fault of the hotels but I did mention it at check in and they were aware - perhaps updated sections would have been helpful as the signage is not clear at all. Limited milk in room, however I’m sure if we asked for more they would have helped

Excellent festive short break in Bruges

This was a return visit to the hotel after 6 years and was very much we remember it from previously. The room had a good view and the bed was very comfy, Breakfasts were excellent. The staff in both reception and dining area were very friendly and helpful at all times with plenty of information and maps provided, We travelled by car (electric) - the car park has excellent excellent car charging facilities at a reasonable price. Bruges, with the festive lights and Christmas markets was a winter wonderland!

When you pay a high-price, then you expect excellent care and service during your stay.

The staff was pleasant, but never really went out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel at home. There was a confusion or mis-understanding in the bar on their prices for different sizes of glass-beer. I was charged a different price for the same size of glass beer, which I found quite astonishing. Near the exits to the stair-lifts, the carpet required a good-clean. For the Air-Conditioning, there was no setting dial to indicate the temperature of the room. It seemed that the hotel staff controlled the room temperatures, as I enquired regarding this issue and the staff member showed our room temp. on his screen, which I could not see in my room!

There were niggling issues, when we got there, we decided to have an evening meal at the hotel. Once we ordered the food, but it too long to arrive at our table. We had to request the staff member to ask, "what was happening and why the delay?" The excuse we got was that there was a new staff member in the kitchen.... Never realised that you had to pay for an extra bottle of water, for the room! If there is 2-people in the room, then 2-bottles of water should be supplied as expected, as standard room-service per day of stay.

Good hotel close to city centre.

Location near the railway station. Easy walk to the city centre. Great car parking facilities. Friendly staff with efficient check in. Bar staff were friendly too.

The rooms were very dark and it was difficult to know where to insert the lighting key card. We had to use our phone torch to see any light switch.

Ideal

Lovely hotel, 5 minutes walk from Bruge train station. Staff all very helpful. Great breakfast buffet and nice meal in the bar on our first evening. Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

We had a lovely corner room however the bathroom door was swollen and did not close. Housekeeping should have been well aware of this and had it rectified.

Ver close to the Bruges Train station and FlixBus pick up points for my travel in and out of Bruges. Easy walking to the city and all the places to see.

A very unpleasant conversation with hotel staff who broke the law regarding invoices.

On August 8, 2025, Radison Blue Hotel employee refused to issue an invoice to my company for the stay from August 4 to August 8, 2025, claiming that he can only issue invoices for payments made on site at the hotel, which is not possible in the case of payments made through booking.com According to the law and information provided by Booking.com, the hotel is required to issue an invoice, otherwise it commits a fiscal offense. We were unable to contact the hotel manager via email (error 421 – downstream server error), so in the end, Booking.com staff helped us obtain an invoice from the hotel.

Lovely hotel, we would stay again!

Great location, next door to station with parking at a reasonable 8 euros for 24 hours. We walked into the main square in 20 mins and that was with children in tow! Hotel is super clean, fresh water and fruit available in the lobby. The breakfast was great with a vast selection of drinks, pastries, fruits, cereals, cooked options such as boiled and scrabbled eggs, bacon etc

Only option if you don’t drink cows milk was soya. Would have been nice to have a choice of oat/almond/coconut milk of similar. Our room had no shower gel HOWEVER not really a negative because when we mentioned this at reception someone was up and replacing it within less than 10 mins. The staff were great and very attentive so do ask if you need anything.

Disappointing

The beds were comfy, good location

It was dirty (wall opposite the toilet, hairs in the tub, a big stain on the vanity unit, stained carpets, stained laminate flooring) The coffee machine was not working There was no shower gel in the bathroom

Adequate for price

Close to the train and about a 15 min walk to the city centre

We had a broken light that flickered constantly and I requested the front desk 3 times to fix it and they never did over the 2 days we stayed. The light was very annoying. We also received an upgrade to a room that was all glass in the middle of summer it was so hot and the aircon was not that great.

A little gem

Great location for exploring Bruges. The hotel and room was modern and clean. Plentiful parking which was why we chose this hotel as we were driving from UK through to Netherlands and stopped here en route.

Breakfast was lovely however limited options if you want a hot, cooked breakfast or if you have a picky eater.

- We got the room on -1 floor which located next to the parking lodge. The view was blocked as if we stayed in the basement. - if you want slipper, you need to pay extra.

Room a little small but comfortable. Food in the restaurant is good but overpriced when compared to better restaurants in the city which are close to the Radison Blu.

OK for a 2 day stay & close to station.

LOCATION: Close to Bruges Train Station around 8 to 10min walk. Center of Bruges is around 20 to 30 minute of brisk walking from the hotel. A bus station outside the train station. Few restaurants outside the station which is good to have around the hotel. A huge football ground sized parking space outside the hotel. STAFF: The front desk reception staff was nice, calm and helpful. The flyers/brochures desk at the hotel entrance is useful to browse through for tours and activities info.

Location: The walking path to take from outside the station to the escalator or steps to take for the hotel is cobblestoned, so dragging your luggage is truly a drag! Room: Family Room: The old model sofa bed when extended was supported by the cushions of the sofa. Ok for kids but probably not for adults. My room said Mini-Bar but there was only an empty fridge. The Air-Con cooling was not that good but ok. The curtains could only be opened from either ends and not from the center. Luggage box or suitcase had to be placed on the floor as there was no proper allocated rack space for this. Room Service: Called for room service after 11pm and ordered for 1 out of the 3 items from the menu that was only for the night and that was not available, so went for what was available only. Not much options. Radisson Blu being a well known hotel worldwide should maintain their name: The Breakfast was ok but the hotel could improve this with more additional options. The Room Service menu could be very useful with more options for late night also and made available if ordered. The Air-Con needs more cooling. The Sofa Bed needs to be changed and should be stronger for adults to use also. If the rooms says minibar included, the small fridge should not be empty.

A comfortable stay in an excellent location.

The Radisson Blu hotel is suitably positioned near the rail and station and within an easy 15 minute walk into the Bruge Center. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Excellent rain shower.

I didn’t like the strange room configuration where one needed to walk around to the other side of the room to enter the bathroom.

Premium bedroom had a good bathtub and very spacious room. The amenities provided in the room were very nice and thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable

There wasn't any hand soap. The detached toilet didn't have it's own basin. The room layout meant the doors should of been a different design.
