A quiet and clean accommodation in a great location

Allegra Viareggio Appartamento & Affittacamere Guest House is located in a quiet area surrounded by local residences, less than a kilometer from both the beach and the city center. The location is excellent for those who want to enjoy a peaceful environment while still being close to services and the shore. The apartment and the entire building have been renovated, and the surfaces were clean. The double bed was fairly new but a bit firm. The air conditioning worked well, and the apartment had a balcony, which was a nice bonus—there was one sun lounger on the balcony. The apartment’s kitchen is equipped with a stove, a refrigerator, a kitchen sink and a Nespresso coffee machine, three coffee mugs, plates, glasses, cutlery and a frying pan. No breakfast is offered. Check-in was easy. Passenger passport details were submitted in advance, the tourist tax payment link was sent before arrival, and the door code was provided on the day of arrival. Communication was smooth via WhatsApp. Small dogs are also warmly welcome to stay. Overall, a quiet and clean accommodation in a great location, although small improvements could be made regarding waste disposal and the sofa bed mattress quality.

The sofa bed for two had a rather thin mattress, which felt somewhat uncomfortable. Toilet paper was provided in limited amounts, and there was only a small amount of dish soap. There were no replacement garbage bags, and no instructions for waste disposal were given. There is no elevator in the building, and our apartment was on the second floor, accessible by steep stairs, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Finding parking nearby was very difficult. We parked the car at a large free parking area located on the other side of the railway track, behind the Esselunga market, about a 2.4 km drive or an 800 m walk from the apartment.

Pretty much perfect

Located very close to the beach, park and the train station. Check in was straightforward. Apartment was extremely clean and impressive - with a high standard of living and design.

There was nothing we didn’t like - and it is close to being perfect - but little things like a kettle, an outside clothes line and a mat for the bathroom floor would have made the stay more practical. The outside space could do with some improvement.

The location is just outside the tourist area's and with a 10 minutes walk you're in the center of activities of Viareggio.

Amazing stay at Allegra

The apartment was very beautiful and minimalistic with nice design details, and even a spa bath. It was very clean and cozy. Very nice location, next to a park and close to the beach. Easy check-in and communication with the owner. We loved staying here and will be back!

Windows are not very noise-proof, we were on the ground floor so we could hear noise from the street. Overall the street is quiet so wasn’t a problem for us.

Location was good, the rest is horrible.

Property was small and not the same as the pictures. There are no doors in the apartment, even the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock on it. The acclaimed WiFi was horrible and we even lost power one full day. The lady managing the property is very in friendly and wasn’t willing to work out a solution with us for the power outage

Wonderful!

The apartment was beautiful, modern, very clean, and in an excellent location. Best of all the terrace was perfect, sun-drenched for breakfast every morning. Amazing shower and bathroom, great bed, and a beautiful kitchen. I would stay for a month next time.

Available parking was impossible to find, and even if you did find parking it was for a short period of time. We needed parking for the whole week so I had to park 1.5KM away in the public parking lot Via Nino Bixio. It would be ideal if we could park closer to the apartment.

Viaregio holidays

The apartment is like the pictures, and the quality of the beds and the items are good. Would advise the owner to get a baby bath in case of families with babies. The bathroon only has a shower. Very confortable and the existece of the air condition is of fucral importance.

Bedding and linnen are not included and this information is only informed after booking. Also we understand that we might need to take bedding and linnen but it has never happend needed to bring blankets. When asked we were told that some guests had burned it... sorry but that is the risk of having a property to rent

Il terzo letto lo abbiamo dovuto fare noi. Avrei preferito l'accoglienza di persona. Abbiamo faticato a trovare parcheggio.

Carnevale magico, soggiorno meraviglioso

Posizione ottima !!! Non conoscendo Viareggio ci siamo piacevolmente ritrovati a pochi minuti a piedi dal meraviglioso lungomare , dove poi abbiamo passato una meravigliosa giornata tra i carri e le maschere. Lungomare attrezzato da ogni cosa, negozi, gelaterie, ristoranti, caffetterie e tabaccherie. Ogni singola persona cordiale e gentile. Sotto casa abbiamo trovato anche diversi parcheggi a pagamento, prezzi ottimi, e abbiamo lasciato la macchina per tutti i due giorni, senza aver necessità di spostarla. Proprio perché a pochi minuti a piedi potrete raggiungere tutto . anche un’ ottima pasticceria dove assaggiare frittelle di riso e cantucci buonissimi , poi potrete trovare anche un Conad, necessario e comodissimo per acquistare acqua,caffè, latte e biscotti per la colazione, e il bellissimo parco / pineta proprio davanti. La camera è grandissima, il letto comodissimo e l’appartamento super riscaldato. Il bagno pulitissimo ed elegante. Balconcino bellissimo anche in camera da letto. Ogni stanza dell’appartamento è provvista da grandissime finestre. Il salone con cucina attrezzato da ogni cosa, piatti, pentolino, posate ,tazze, bicchieri e macchina del caffè che funge anche da bollitore. ( portate le capsule nespresso) Piano cottura ad induzione. Frigorifero per poter mettere quello che si vuole e tavolo bello grande per fare colazione comodamente in 4. Torneremo assolutamente, perché tutto è stato perfetto, e avendo due bimbe con noi, la comodità è la prima cosa. Tutto meraviglioso, anche la gentilezza del personale che ha inviato le indicazioni per entrare in appartamento e anche suggerimenti dove cenare. Tutto stupendo!

Sarebbe necessaria un attenzione in più sulla pulizia dei locali. In particolar modo occorrerebbe un copri divano visto che vi erano presenze di macchie sullo stesso. Quindi presumo che venga lavato pochissime volte.

Teleurstellend en een smet op onze vakantie in het mooie Viareggio

De locatie van de accommodatie was prima in orde. Het strand is op loopafstand net als een parkje waar het overdag gezellig is. ‘s Avonds is dat parkje echter niet aan te raden vanwege schimmige figuren.

Een dag voor onze reservering kregen we via een Whatsapp bericht van de host te horen dat er problemen waren met de badkamer van ons geboekte appartement (Deluxe Suite). We konden daar niet verblijven omdat er geen warm water beschikbaar was. Als oplossing werd ons een vervangend appartement aangeboden. Volgens de host vergelijkbaar, echter zonder bad. Eenmaal gearriveerd de volgende dag betraden we ons vervangende appartement. Dit appartement bevond zich niet in hetzelfde gebouw als ons geboekte appartement. Het vervangende appartement was niet (of zeer slecht) schoongemaakt. Er hingen nog plukken haar van vorige gasten, de vloer was vies, overal lag stof en er lag as van een sigaret in de wasbak. De keukenopstelling was absoluut niet vergelijkbaar met wat we geboekt hadden en het leek alsof het appartement simpelweg niet af was. Hierop hebben wij contact gezocht met de host voor een oplossing. Inmiddels was het al in de namiddag. De host kon ons niet voorzien van een oplossing waar wij tevreden mee waren. We kregen de keus om 1) in het vervangende appartement te verblijven voor een nacht om de volgende dag naar een ander appartement verplaatst te worden of 2) in ons geboekte appartement te gaan, zonder warm water. Wij deden zelf het voorstel om een refund/vergoeding te krijgen zodat we een nacht in een ander hotel zouden kunnen verblijven (welke schoon was en de beschikking had over warm water). Uiteindelijk heeft de host ons een gedeeltelijke refund gegeven. Voor die refund konden we een nacht in een ander hotel verblijven. De volgende dag werden we overgeplaatst naar een vervangend appartement met balkon. Dit appartement was schoon en er was warm water beschikbaar. Dit voldeed aan onze verwachtingen en was verder prima. We hadden onze verwachtingen ook al wat bijgesteld en wilden de resterende dagen genieten van onze vakantie zonder al teveel gedoe… Al met al is de eerste dag een vervelende ervaring geweest voor ons.

Zodra we binnen kwamen was het zichtbaar dat het heel proper was!

Geen wasmachine/ strijkijzer. Wij verbleven langer en hadden geen wasmachine of strijkijzer in ons appartement. Maar buiten dat was het super.
