Good location
House could have been cleaner.
WiFi would have been appreciated

Location was good but some issues with neighbours about parking.
The main heating system was not working. The wood burner was not heating the fixed rads or the towel rail in the bathroom. Subsequently the bathroom was freezing, too cold to have a shower.
The garden was overgrown.
The property was not as clean as it could be.
Generally the property was cold and damp. White goods appliances were rusting, and mould on some walls. The rug between bathroom and lounge was wet.
These issues were mentioned in the visitors comments book but obviously not acted upon.vwry

Welcome pack of teabags, Welsh cakes & pint of milk; some fuel for the wood burner. Private back garden to sit outside. Lots of quirky decorations - 'olde worlde'. Village of Penmon was a good central location.
On road parking - not a problem per se but the cottage is on a narrow, busy road - lots of large agricultural traffic passing by - had to position the car right up to the frontage making access difficult for my 90 yro father. There was only room for one vehicle - luckily we did car share. No WiFi provided - this should be standard in all holiday let's! Sofas were small - understand that this is necessary due to limited space, but could have done with poufs or lazy boys - to put feet up! Kitchen was ok but could benefit from additional crockery + glasses (only wine glasses & pint pots provided - no tumblers). Need a mirror in the bathroom. We lit the wood burner but there was not sufficient heat to warm the radiators - father was cold, but there were electric heaters provided. The garden is a wildlife haven! The shared hedge could do with trimming back, and down - so longer sun in the evening!
On the last morning I got my cool bag from the understairs - and found a cockroach inside - so had to disinfect. The cottage was generally not cleaned thoroughly - lots of dusty corners, and could do with sprucing up. It was impossible to move around without stairs & floors creaking loudly (problem at night as the bathroom was downstairs!)- yes, I know it's an old building, but my husband managed to reduce some of the creaks by tightening up screws on the door hinges! Otherwise it was ok; absolutely nothing in the village (shops, pubs, eateries).

The owner is very friendly and told us a bit about the history of the cottage. We only needed to use the electric heaters, which soon made the living room toasty, but there were logs for the fire. The location is quiet. There is an air fryer and microwave as well as a conventional cooker. We sat in the garden at the rear. The accommodation is on a bus route.
It was just what we wanted, so there are no issues.
There are no shops or pubs close but there is a convenience store with friendly staff a few miles away.
The bathroom is on the ground floor so a bit of a walk and next to the living room.

Beautiful location, lovely views. Quaint cottage, well equipped
Parking was outside on a busy road, the cottage could have been cleaner, unwashed floors, inside kitchen cupboards grubby, dusty and dirty tv screen. The garden was badly overgrown and full of weeds so not pleanant to sit out in

Everything was lovely, house fit my needs perfectly, garden was nice and secure for my tiny dogs, no little escape routes. Area is beautiful and quiet, friendly locals, parking easy enough outside the house. Lovely touch leaving cake and setting fire up ready so all I needed to do on arrival was light it and enjoy my cake 😋🙂
All was lovely no complaints

Low price. Quiet location. Good for exploring the south west of the island. The garden was quite pleasant to sit out in if the sun was shining. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable.
The house was not thoroughly clean. Although there are electric convector heaters in the lounge and bedrooms, there was no heating in the (GROUND FLOOR) bathroom unless a fire was lit. The log burner which heats the towel rail and upstairs radiators is a monstrosity; very dirty and inconvenient. We didn't want to have to light a fire every day and even if we had done, the heat would be uncontrollable and we were out most of the day. The bathroom was like a fridge (early May) and the tiled floor very slippery due to condensation. The biggest problem was the ground floor location of the bathroom, making visits to the toilet in the night a real trial! As well as the distance, the headroom into the bathroom is very low. The kitchen cupboard doors were loose and the cooker hood dirty. There is only limited parking on the road outside the property and it's necessary to park very close to the wall as large farm vehicles regularly pass through. The property description states 1 mile to a pub and shop but it's nearer 2 miles, so a car trip is needed.

Nice, traditional little cottage. Quiet location with a shop and beaches just a few minutes drive, closest supermarket about 15 mins away. Basic facilities but everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Cosy wood burner. Enclosed garden for our dog. Countryside and lots of walks virtually from the doorstep
As a traditional Welsh cottage, some of the doorways had very limited height. The bathroom and kitchen were quite chilly (but was the middle of winter!)

Nice location for beaches & country walks
Weather, but who can control that.
