Ffrwd Cottage

We loved our stay at Ffrwd cottage! It’s exactly as described on the website. We got the train from London to Bodorgan and walked to the cottage from the station. It’s in a very peaceful, secluded spot. The cottage was clean and tidy, and the kitchen was very well-equipped (we cooked almost all our meals there). It’s a lovely walk to Aberfraw, and we rented electric bikes from Angelsey Bike Hire to explore further afield. Thank you Ffwrd Cottage for a wonderful stay!

Can't really think of much in regards to the cottage, we really loved it! The communication/help could have been a little bit easier - the company managing the cottage only provide a Whatsapp help line which was a bit frustrating to communicate with. It would have been good to have someone to speak to.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming historic cottage. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery that instantly makes you feel relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage itself has so much character, yet is very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen in particular was excellent and made cooking at home a real pleasure. The large enclosed garden was a real highlight, especially as it gave our dog plenty of space to safely run and play, it really made the holiday feel stress-free. Inside, everything was spotless and well maintained, with lots of little touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location is also ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being a perfect base for exploring the surrounding landscapes and picturesque towns. Whether you want to hike, sightsee, or simply relax in the garden, this cottage has it all. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting!

Parking is a bit tight but didn’t cause us any issues.

At the edge if the garden is a 8 to 10 foot ditch which is hidden by vegetation and my wife fell into it

The decor of the cottage was nice and the garden was lovely.

We arrived and the house was filled with spiders and dusty. After cleaning for an hour on arrival we then started to unpack. Unfortunately the spiders kept coming back throughout the stay. The children's room was damp as was the wall behind the kitchen cabinets. We also had to clean all the cutlery, crockery and utensils before using as there was quite a bit of dried on food.
