Set in a peaceful location with lovely countryside views, the complex of Llys Llewellyn is located within the historic grounds of the court of Prince Llywelyn, the greatest ruler of Wales. All the cottages on the complex combine period features in keeping with the historical setting together with lots of modern touches to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Hen Golchdy (pronounced 'Hen Golch-dee') features a lovely open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The space is comfortably furnished with sofas, armchairs, a dining table, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals, beach picnics, or packed lunches for hiking along the Anglesey Coastal Path. This holiday home offers a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with en-suite shower rooms.
Guests can enjoy the peaceful location with lovely countryside views. Hen Golchdy has a small, enclosed courtyard to the front of the property and enclosed patio at the side (access via the double bedroom). The Llys Llewellyn complex offers ample parking space, and there is a communal dual charge pod point EV charger for electric vehicles. Internet is a free amenity, however due to our unique location on Anglesey, we cannot always guarantee its performance or availability. We appreciate your understanding if this service becomes unavailable during your stay, as compensation cannot be offered.

A very comfortable, clean 2 bed cottage on the edge of an estuary which leads to the sea, a nature reserve and sand dunes. Good for seeing water and meadow birds. There is a really good cafe within the complex of cottages.
Dogs are allowed on the sandy beach with no restrictions.
I would have liked some recycling bins, instead of just a large general waste bin at the entrance to the complex.

Firstly the booking with anglesey holidays was easy ..the lady we spoke to was friendly and so helpful
The cottage was beautifully clean ... it was well thought out and very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay..the welcome pack was much appreciated ..
the bathrooms were lovely ..the showers are superb ( would have liked a shelf or basket for toiletries)
Beds were comfortable and both bedrooms had plenty of drawers for storage..
lovely to have sheep and their lambs in the field next to the cottage ..there is an enclosed sitting area for the cottage and we found it very peaceful to sit outside
the grounds are well maintained and there is a cafe on site
lovely walks straight from the cottage
..forest walks only a short drive .. we found the island so pretty ..we had a super stay at the cottage and would definitely return

Everything we expected and nothing we didn’t cottage was clean and tidy on arrival on the welcome pack well received. Communication with Anglesey Holiday letting dead excellent we will definitely be back. One small complaint was the lack of a wardrobe but not a problem really

We first stayed 2 years back February half term and had such fond memories so we booked again, but in the bigger cottage this time, it was huge! So cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there, great cooking facilities, big fridge/freezer too. Both bedrooms had large ensuites. Beds were really comfy. High quality mattresses and bed linen plenty of fluffy white towels.
Location is just perfect 5mins from the estuary and fantastic walks to the beaches and coves. Perfect for bird/nature spotting. Lovely cafe on site, GF options, good price and large portions. We would highly recommend it and I'm sure we will be back again. Aberffraw is just magical (even in Feb)
