Location
We arrived at a dirty and worn down apartment with a thick layer of dust. The couch was covered with a blanket full of dog hair, and when we removed the blacket, it revealed a massively stained couch. Previous reviews mention the same couch, so they are aware.
Even the dinner table had dog hairs on it.
The information folder had a WhatsApp number directly to the cleaning lady, so it is expected that guests send complaints directly to her. As guests, we should not have to complain to anyone other than the host - It should not be our responsibility to call anyone about their work effort.
Instead we spent the first 2 hours on a Saturday night cleaning the apartment, and buying a new blanket, so we could actually use the couch.
Plates, glasses and cutlery are placed in an old cupboard in the living room, so everything stinks of the old closet.
There was one roll of toilet paper for two people for 7 nights, as well as one single tea towel.
Electric wires in the bathroom were connected with tape.
The bed sagged in the middle, so it was impossible to sleep on each side of the bed.
Old water damage marks on the wall in the living room.
When we were about to check out, the key box was gone. Had to call customer service multiple times, and wait an hour before we got a new address 3km from the apartment, where we could drop off the key.

This property has a heavy and loud (if not carefully closed) street door. Visitors should be warned not to irritate the resident of the habitat next tpo the street door. WE had no phone due to SIM card issues. Trying to communicate without a phone is very difficult. For us it meant losing a day at the previous apartment Au file le Temps.

Fantastic location and really scenic view from the apartment.
We enjoyed the "old town" architecture and feel in the well decorated apartment.
The water heater had to be constantly reset - which was a bit of a pain!
While the bed was OK - the pillows were positively bad.
One thing to note - there were no obvious emergency instructions re fire, etc.
If you have large luggage case - the stairs are difficult - narrow and curved.

The apartment is so beautiful, the location is perfect, very close to the downtown, the view from the widow is great, the kitchen was equipment, the bed and the couch comfortable, all the apartment was cozy and charming.
Was my first time in Metz and was wonderful!
Just the instructions for closing the door was a little confusing in the beginning, but in the end everything goes well!

The location
The bedroom stank of cigarettes, there was no support when we needed help with check in, and the apartment wasn’t set up properly for our party. We had to put up the sofa bed ourselves and lay it as well as the travel cot, even though we advised we would be 4 people.

Fantastic location, right next to Temple Neuf (which makes for an incredible view) and minutes from the cathedral and Christmas markets. The entire apartment was spotless and as stunning as it is in the pictures.
We couldn’t fault anything about this property, the customer service was absolutely wonderful - so friendly and helpful! It was a lovely touch to find a welcome book full of recommendations for the best patisseries, restaurants, lunch spots, and local tourism/entertainment hotspots - it made the whole holiday so much easier and we got to try the best pain au chocolat’s we’d ever tasted!
Thank you for a wonderful experience, if we ever come back to Metz we won’t hesitate to book this lovely apartment again.
Nothing!

The view is fabulous, as per the photos, and the apartment is centrally located - very close to restaurants and the sights of Metz. The kitchen is very small but well equipped. The living room has the view and is nicely decorated. We parked at the comedy theatre, which was just across the river, and quite easy to access.
It was quite difficult to deal with a third party 'concierge', which wasn't set up to deal with tourists from outside the EU who are travelling without much 4G. Their system is for no access/parking etc. details to be sent until the day before arrival. I asked to be given the details ahead of time so I could look up where to park, and download access details as I knew I couldn't do that in the week beforehand. After reminding they sent me these and a PIN for the keylock, but then later sent a different PIN. They are also the only accommodation among the hundreds I've ever booked that required scanned photo ID uploaded onto their site. As someone who knows about cyber security, I wasn't particularly happy about this. The apartment also smelled really bad - like a cross between boiled cabbage and stale cigarette smoke. Having to take our rubbish out and deliver it a block away was a little inconvenient. The kitchen and bathroom were really tiny, but otherwise the apartment was great.

the view and location for us who like being in the old centre of town
the apartment smelled of stale cigarettes especially in the bedroom as no air flow there.

location in heart of town. View across river.
Internet needed to be reset on arrival. No instructions for tv. No spatula for kitchen. No stool to reach microwave or high shelves. Clearer dieections to lock apartment door. No bureau for clothes. No broom.

Apartment is centrally located and has everything you need for your stay. Would be a great place for a long stay for leisure or a work remote location. Kitchen is fully stocked and coffee and tea is available.

Beautiful room with tall windows and great view.
Stains on sofa, calcium buildup on kitchen faucet, shower head partially broken.
Bouilloire was full of calcium, couldn't use it.
Smelled like cigarettes from long ago, especially in bedroom.
Basically needs a deep cleaning.
