Excellent place to stay in Nimes

Really lovely apartment, bigger than expected. Comfortable and well equipped, really comfy bed. Over looking the square and great position in centre of Nimes. You must try the Empamadas in the square. On the second floor but good stairs up. Good security for entering building. Would definitely return.

Only unpleasant thing was the smell in the hall and stairway but not in the apartment. Dont know what can be done about this.

Superb flat in lovely location.

Spacious, comfy, all amenities, central location on a lovely leafy quiet square with trickling fountain. Facilities suit a long stay. Easy to cook a meal (large fridge freezer, combi microwave oven, hob, kettle, pots, pans, utensils etc). Washing machine and dishwasher. A shower over a bath. Nice to have the option of a bath. A sunny flat but with blackout curtains to keep out heat, and ceiling fans.

Minor things: No shutters due to being in a conservation area. No non-slip mat for the shower over the bath.

Tranquil charm in the heart of Nîmes

A charming apartment, the living and sleeping areas having been recently refurbished. The apartment is spacious and very calm in the heart of the old town of Nimes. The tranquility is such that it's hard to believe that you are in the heart of a city. An apartment with a beautiful ambience and charm. Very accessable to transport, restaurants, shops and for the attractions of Nimes and the region. The kitchen was very well equipped.

I was hesitant about the 2nd floor location when booking but the staircase was a good width with well spaced steps and a good handrail. The bathroom is, I understand, next on the refurbishment list but it was clean, functional and served it's purpose.

Clean and comfortable studio in the heart of Nîmes

Comfortable studio with a nice view right in the center of Nîmes. The studio was clean and had everything we needed to stay a couple of days. There are small supermarkets less than 2 min from the studio and we are 10 min from the train station. The host made us feel welcome and was very fast to reply to any questions we had. We’ll definitely come back here the next time we visit Nîmes!

Excellent location - an easy walk to all the main attraction and to the Railway / Bus station. The large Apartment was Comfortable, Very Clean and very well equipped. Our host Rafael, and Sugley, who met us at the apartment, were always helpful and supportive throughout booking and during our stay, communication was excellent - thanks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved Nimes - beautiful and vibrant city, compact but packed with great sights / places of interest, eating places and pleasant and helpful people everywhere we went. We loved it.

Great location in the old town with windows facing to a lovely square with several restaurants which close early enough to do not have any noise troubles during the night. the apartment is very well furnished and has a very comfortable bed.

Only minus is that AC cannot be installed since the building is old and therefore there is an AC machine with a hose that goes out through the window, which needs to remain open while the machine is on... I wouldn't choose it during a heat wave. For all other occasions, it is perfect!

Perfect location for Nimes city centre and the sights.

Good: 1. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you needed so you could sit back and relax as soon as you arrived. 2. The apartment was kept very clean and tidy. On arrival the bed was made and we were given clean towels. 3. The apartment location was very quiet at night so you can get a really good sleep. 4. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. 5. The apartment was very close to all the amenities, shops, restaurants etc. 6. The apartment is a very short and easy walk (approximately 400-500m to the city centre). 7. All the main tourist attractions are a very short walk away from the apartment. 8. The apartment overlooks a lovely square which has 5 really outstanding restaurants around it, which between them are open every lunchtime and evening. 9. The square "Les Esclafidous" is a nice place to spend the evening, if you don't want to venture into the city centre.

Bad: 1. Wardrobe door nearly fell off on top of me when I tried to open it, 2. Informed on arrival by the caretaker/key holder that the aircon wasn't working and we would have to use a fan (that was quite noisy). It was 29 degrees Celsius when we arrived and the apartment heated up quickly. 3. The pillows were very old and desperately needed replacing (preferably with 2/person), 4. The bathroom was a little tired and needed decorating (some black mould around the edge of the bath). 5. Some of the plug sockets were not properly secured to the wall which is not good if you have young children. Minor Problems: 1. The TV was difficult to get to work. 2. There was a coffee machine but no kettle, so you had to heat up water in a saucepan for a drink. 3. Parking near the apartment was very expensive (21.5 Euros/day), but it was secure. The host did kindly explain the system of park and ride where you parked outside the city centre and caught a bus into the city (although I did not like the idea of leaving a car in a park and ride for 3 days).

Sin lugar a dudas la ubicación. Para visitar Nimes es muy cómodo porque se puede visitar cualquier punto caminando. También me gustó la calidad del menaje del apartamento. Estaba todo nuevo e intacto. El sofá cama se dormía bien y la cama era cómoda. Otra cosa que me gustó fue el silencio que reinaba. No se escuchaba nada a pesar de estar en el centro. Estaba muy bonito decorado, eso sí, yo pondría un punto de luz sobre la mesa del salón. Es amplio. Nosotros estábamos 4 y nos movíamos sin problema.

La situación. Calidad y tranquilidad del apartamento. Perfectamente acondicionado. Pese a haber dos restaurantes en la plaza, con ventanas cerrada no molesta el ruido. Amabilidad del anfitrión, Rafael (contesta a tus dudas en el momento) y de la persona que nos atendió (Sugly). Totalmente recomendable. Si duda, repetiría si viniese de nuevo.

Difícil aparcamiento. Mal olor en la escalera, supongo que de las cocinas del restaurante que hay abajo. Por supuesto, ambas cosas no son imputables al alojamiento
