Ideally located on the lake front, it's actually still an active monastery/religious building of some description so has a chapel and old kitchens. Has a terrace on the ground floor at the front (where you can eat breakfast in the morning), plus a balcony on the first floor with views over the lake and lakefront restaurants.
It suited us fine, nothing to complain about really.

The location right by the water was a big plus, the breakfast buffet was good but we couldn't find anyone to take our order for omelets, which we would have liked.
The check in process was a bit annoying. We had a chaotic day and they kept calling repeatedly to know exactly what time we would arrive. When we couldn't find parking and were 10 minutes later than we estimated they called yet again as apparently you cannot check in later than 7pm normally. Ideally your day could be more flexible to arrive when it is convenient for you.
