We had a very spacious room with a view of Ben Nevis. Loved having the little round table and chairs in front of the bay window!!!
The bed was very large (180cm) and extremely comfortable. Natalie went out of her way to ensure we had everything we could possibly need in the room including a variety of snacks/ coffee and other hot drinks (this guest house no longer offers breakfast).
The blinds don’t block out the daylight, so unfortunately we woke up quite early (possibly because we are used to having shutters or curtains).
The house is on a main road/ not far from a railway line, so traffic (and occasionally trains) can be heard from the room. This possibly only bothers those who are vey sensitive to noise.
The hosts request that their guests leave the property from 11am to 4pm. Although this was not an issue for us most of the time, we didn’t feel we could pop back to the room during the day (as one would at a hotel for example).

When we received word that breakfast was no longer offered, I almost canceled. What a mistake that would have been! The view, the comfy room, and the care we received from our hosts, Natalie and Thomas, were exceptional. The view of Ben Nevis was seen through a beautiful garden that Thomas has created which made Ben Nevis more spectacular. Booking.com, how about updating your ad by removing information about breakfast?
