In terms of the apartment location and facilities, we couldn't have asked for more.

Location was as good as it gets, just a stones-throw from the main street, while the apartment was large and well appointed. Very easy to check in and out.

Honestly, everything was perfect.

it was clean, tidy, and close to everything we wanted to do.

It would be good to have hooks on the back of the bathroom door for our towels. Also, the espresso machine was not working, but the french presses were a good backup.

Beautifully furnished apartment in the centre of Kenmare

Beautiful quirky dog friendly apartment that was very comfortable and provided everything we needed in a great location right in the centre of the town but away from any noisey nigt time areas. Parking was handy between the spaces outside and close proximity to a town carpark. Our host Helen provided lots of local information on good places to visit.

Beautiful apartment in centre of Kenmare

Loved the location right in the town with access to the shops and restaurants. We large kitchen and living areas, comfy sofas and very quaint decor.

We were not aware the place is not really accessible for people with mobility issues. Steep stairs from the entrance with limited handrail. Two of the three bedrooms are then up further steep stairs. This was an issue for us as we invited a relative who uses crutches. The double attic bed also needs replacing as it feels like it will collapse every time you roll over! Very comfy but creaky.

The apartment was well located, decorated, very clean and the staff were lovely.

The entrance stairs’ handrail is obscured by the doggy/baby door. It feels unsafe when using that part of the stairs.

Gorgeous apartment. Homely, exceptionally comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, on a quiet road in town but very close to the bars and restaurants of Kenmare. Didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended

We were happy with our choice and enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was tastefully furnished and felt like a proper home. We had a friendly welcome from Helene and Gaelle and the location was perfect in the town centre.

One bedroom was upstairs in the roof and was very warm at night with the only bathroom down the stairs. The shower is over the bath, fine, but the bath was very narrow and felt a little unsafe.

Amazing location, extremely clean, every thing & more that you would need. Lovely hidden touches with fresh flowers etc.

Would be user friendly for anyone with any mobility issues re all stairwells in the property very steep & no walk in shower so access to shower in the bath would be tricky.

Wonderful Kenmare flat with spectacular help.

The flat was in the centre of Kenmare, with parking across the road, had everything we needed and loads of room. Plus Helen was so incredibly helpful.

Lovely Stay

We loved everything about our stay, we were in the basement apartment and it had everything we needed. It was so clean and very comfortable. We felt very at home there and would definitely stay again. Location was perfect for a wander around town or a stroll to the pier.

Our stay wasn't long enough!! The only recommendation we would make would be to install a handrail on the wall for the stairs down to the apartment, otherwise everything was perfect.

The apartment gave us a chance to live on our own during part of our vacation. Nice it had a washer.

Washer was nice but no dryer. Very dark space. Needed to turn on hot water and wait for 45 minutes to wash dishes or use the bathroom sink.

Wonderful location. Wonderful hostess. And apartment with quirkiness and warmth.

The property was a renovated older building. It was tastefully done, except for some quirky things that w lent to the atmosphere, but were a bit inconvenient such as an old medicine cabinet with a mirror that was deteriorating, which made it difficult to shave, etc. The space requires walking up steps, and then if you want to reach two of the bedrooms, there are further sets of stairs. Not ideal for older people, but fine for the younger. The host could not have been more pleasant. She was attentive and bent over backwards to make us comfortable.

Some furnishings in the living room that were oversized for the space that made it difficult to walk around, an old medicine cabinet, and inadequate light in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was very good.

helen warmly welcomed us, including my little dog. plenty of books to read or games to pay on a rainy day. in the middle of Kenmare, very close to the shops and restaurants. very spacious and a little outdoor area (we stayed in the basement flat)

it can be a bit dark and cold but they provide heaters and good lighting. electric shower but heats up quickly.
