Very comfortable house in a lovely, convenient location.

Fantastic location - it was only a 2 minute walk from Kenmare Town Centre, in itself is a really lovely town. It also had secure, spacious, off-street parking (up to the property's back door) which made loading and unloading from our family car, really easy. Very comfortable house, bigger than it looked in the photos, with great facilities. The kitchen was well equipped, the TV had access to Sky, Netflix, YouTube, etc., the beds were comfy and the WiFi speeds very good. It even had a little, private back garden we could sit out in, in the mornings to have breakfast. Overall, the house was very clean and in great condition. We would thoroughly recommend.

We thought the 10:30am check out to be a 'little' early. Most hotels will allow you to stay until 12pm. When you're travelling with kids and having to load a lot of things into your car, plus have breakfast and generally tidy up, we found 10:30 was a bit of a scramble. Also, having house numbers on the back of the terrace of houses would have been nice. When we first arrived and went into the car park, it took us a little while to work out which house was ours! We had to leave the parking area, go to the front of the house (where the house number was) check the paint colour of the house and then go back into the car parking area where the key box was located to work out which key lock box was ours. Minor problems as overall, we really liked this property.

Very comfortable, well appointed holiday house. Perfectly located in a quiet and peaceful spot just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre.

Water pressure in the ensuite shower was low. That's a minor quibble.

The best house to stay at in Kenmare

Tina met us at the house and had the fire lighting to welcome us to the property. The house was so comfortable, spotless and perfectly situated in Kenmare. We loved our 3 nights in front of the fire warching TV. The kitchen was very well maintained and had all the utensils you could need. The bedrooms were all en suite and cosy. We will be back!

Love Kenmare and this was a perfect place to make the most of it.

Generally good, modern accommodation, comfortable and warm (although too hot until we sorted out the thermostatic radiators!), plenty of parking space and a decent private rear garden. Location perfect for easy stroll into Kenmare town, and for trips out and around Kerry.

No welcome pack, no instructions on use of hot water/heating or general guidance on local facilities. For self-catering purposes a certain lack of simple amenities in kitchen, eg. no oven dishes, tin opener, fish slice, needed something to light hob other than a dodgy cigarette lighter. No bedroom and/or bathroom waste bins, no instructions on waste disposal. Managed ok with two occupants, but think there would be logistical problems with 4-6. Wicker dining furniture looked ok, but occasionally proved painful to bare heels!
