Good points: private pool Parking south facing so get a lot of sun in the back area Main bedroom - bed was comfy

The place is quite dated. Kitchen is very basic with hardly anything. Some villas either give you or people leave things like tea bags, cooking oil, salt / pepper etc - saves everyone having to buy and then bin. The pool didnt look or smell clean. There was no noise suggesting the filter was running. lots of bugs in it which needed cleaned out. The showers - must be about 20 years old? The 2 in the rooms are so small, no ledges for gel or shampoo, door leaks everywhere - they need ripping out. The beds in the twin rooms are like lying on a brick. Probably not the villa's fault, but it rained bad one day, and the amount of cockroaches that gathered outside at the front door was like something off a wildlife programme.... they couldnt get under the door thank god, but almost had to call someone. Probably scary for young kids. The drains smell - one twin room, we just kept that door closed the whole week - very unpleasant. The kettle was disgusting - had to go buy a new travel kettle for hot water to use for baby milk. No signs up saying what to do with rubbish - you have to go on a hunt for some white building There is a washing machine & dishwasher - but the smell when you open them is tragic

Our booking at Villas Las Buganvillas was cancelled two weeks before we arrived and we were moved to villa Camelot with no explanation as to why. Although villa Camelot was a lovely villa it did not meet our needs. We had chosen Villas Las Buganvillas because of the access to the pool, property location and the property all being on one level as we had a member of our party with walking difficulty. Villa Camelot was at the other end of Playa Blanca from where we wanted to be and had to get Taxis every night . There was only a ladder into the pool which meant one of our party could not use it. We had to go and buy a bucket so that one of the party could sit with her feet in water. There were also stairs in the villa and outside which made it difficult to move around freely for the person with the walking difficulty. We were told that Ereza would give us the heated pool for free as a way of compensation for having to move villa, but it was advertised that the pool comes with a heated pool from 01/11 so we weren't really compensated by them. We are disappointed to have been moved at such short notice to a villa over 2km away from where we wanted to be. When we arrived the pool pump had also stopped working and although they attended quicky to fix this we were without use of the pool for two days. After waiting 3 years for a holiday it was disappointing to have our villa cancelled last minute.
