Andreas Pool Complex

Fab last minute holiday in May. All rooms have a balcony with table, chairs and drying rack. The pool is freezing but sometimes that was a good thing, also good size and depth.

The Internet was a bit dodgy sometimes, but we were the furthest from the main house.

Location great, though just off road, it was quiet. Lola and family were great showing you features and super friendly. This apartment (in a fenced complex of about a dozen apartments, #105) was on ground floor in garden with terrace to grounds and pool. Nice feeling pool area. Two parking spots but then street parking or park through property management. Though the on site family speaks little English, they referenced property management agent who speaks English and communicated promptly and accurately each time we wrote. Kitchen has a lot, two small TVs (Sky News). Very safe and secure especially for children. Twin air conditioning and heat were great. Very pleasant overall stay.

As in garden and ground floor, there were ants and spiders. Also flying ants living in the wooden front doors. Pest mitigation would be good. Mosquitoes were persistent, but we’ve experienced mosquitos in Kassiopi before. TVs were difficult but do work. Linens and towels were very good. Lola offered to come in and clean which we declined because it was generally clean and easy to manage (making beds, trash etc). We took care of minor (beginning of season) tidy up issues ourselves like killing some spiders and sweeping the floor.

Nice location. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Noise and mosquitoes. The property is full of mosquitoes. I had to keep all windows shut at all times to keep them out. No screens, they just fly in. Noise. The whole building is tile floors and no insulation between walls. Walking up the steps, loud talking in adjoining rooms, dropped keys, opening locks, closing sticky doors all were amplified and would wake me up in the middle of the night. Water is a problem. Hot water takes five or more minutes to arrive when called.
