The location!!! It was exceptional. I included a view of the property from the beach, a morning sun from the outside railing, a beach scene after dusk, and yoga on the beach just steps from the property. Wow! For this alone, I’d rent it again. The rental agency was pleasant and very informative.
A lot! First off, the sofa is busted. When you sit on the couch, which if 6 were staying there, three people would need to be on it, the cushions sank in to that bed frame on the sofa bed! We thankfully had three people total, so only two had to endure it. That makes the comfortability factor super low.
2ndly, the shower drain was fine at first, but during our month long stay, it started draining so slowly that if it where a bathtub, you’d take a bath. We cleaned the hair off the drain each time we took a shower. Bathroom is tight.
3rdly, Beds are firm. We bought mattress toppers after the first night. It was in the 20’s at night, so we had the heat on 70. The back bedroom seemed to blow cold air and that room is chilly!
The last is the washing machine. It is messed up. We couldn’t wash a sweatshirt and a towel together without it refusing to drain and spin. We would run the load, and when it finished, the washer was half full of water. We had to turn it to the off position and then the drain and spin to get it to drain out. Also, we were using the cold water option, but the water got pretty hot. So frustrating. I did inform the agency, but we should not have waited so long. I am sure they would have addressed it, but it’s such a hassle.
