The Terrace, my place

Spacious and comfortable apartment very nice terrace for relaxing and eating. Central location shops and restaurants close by.

No toaster.

Our host, Alessandro, was amazing. Even before we arrived, he provided info on Genova. He met us at the apartment, showed how everything worked and gave suggestions on places to eat at and visit. He even drove an hour next day when there was an issue (turned out a non-issue, just my own misunderstanding) to resolve it in person. Alessandro also allowed us to keep luggage in the apartment on the check-out day past the check-out time. A truly amazing host! The apartment itself is very nice: spacious, worked perfectly for a family of 2 adults and 2 boys, with a well working bathroom/shower. We cooked in the kitchen which is fully equipped, and the terrace is truly lovely. The location was great in proximity to the old town and museums as well as a convenience/grocery store (just around the corner) where we bought provisions for our breakfast and dinner. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We only regret not being able to have a meal at a place Alessandro recommended on the neighboring street - it was either closed or full when we tried - but this has nothing to do with the apartment which was perfect.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location for exploring Genoa. The apartment was clean & well equipped with a good shower & comfortable bed. Check in was easy. There's a supermarket with a nice delicatessen counter only a couple of minutes' walk away & good restaurants close by plus only 5-10 minutes to the main square. The terrace was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again

Excellent location, close to the city center and public transport stations. Clean, spacious terrace, cosy atmosphere. Great host, very responsive, helpful - called a taxi for us when we left for the airport.
