Location, and everything was okay

Not a huge thing but in summers the sunlight come in early and curtains are light

Fantastic location, clean, comfortable. Air con fabulous close to lots of cafes, shopping

For my standards this apartman isn’t clean enough.

The location of this place is everything! It was right in the heart of Budapest, so close to everything including the metro and some great restaurants and supermarkets right near by. The main attractions of Budapest were so close and easy to get to.

When we first walked in, it had a very strong cigarette smoke smell which was not pleasant. The bathroom was very dark and small and had a lot of build up in the shower, and the shower curtain made you feel dirtier after your shower just having to touch it to open it. We did a workout in the room and there was so much hair and dirt that came up from the rug and floor, we didn’t do our workout the following day. All the plates and bowls were not at all clean so we didn’t want to eat off them. The bathroom only had odd bottles of shampoo and no conditioner or body wash so we had to purchase our own (there was a shop 2 minutes away so that was fine) The aircon was a bit too small for the room so it struggled to keep the room cool (it was between 30°c - 35°c when we stayed) The elevator was TINY and only fit one person and your suitcase in at a time so we walked the 3 flights of stairs each time (which was fine for us) and only used the elevator when we arrived and left with our heavy bags. Given it is a major city, there were a lot of homeless people and people on illegal substances. We never felt threatened or unsafe near the accomodation, nor did they bother us or approach us, but just outside the accomodation is where many of these people seem to be and sleep for the night. This did not affect our stay or rating whatsoever, but I feel it is important to mention for future guests to know.
