The property was absolutely beautiful! With three spacious villas including large outdoor bathrooms, seperate Kitchen and seating areas. The gardens were perfectly maintained being meticulously cared for daily by the staff. Ngurah was the most caring, thoughtful and loving person. He was always smiling and keen to do anything to help. Ngurah was the most wonderful person to meet and we would certainly stay again just to see his smile. There is no words to express the gratitude our family feels towards Ngurah. He even helped accomodate an extra 9 people for breakfast!!

There was nothing that our family did not like about the property.

Beautiful place

A beautiful place to spend time. The villas are spacious and comfortable. The gardens are just lovely, with a very nice pool. Having the whole place to ourselves just feels so luxurious. Nuriah is a perfect host.

Lovely villa, not ideal location

The breakfast was freshly prepared every day and there were lots of options to choose from. Staff at the villa were friendly and helpful, offering to organise and buy anything we needed. They even took my hubbie on the back of their motorbike to get cash when needed. Plus one day my daughter got food poisoning from a restaurant in Ubud and the next morning they delivered a fresh, new coconut to help settle her stomach. The pool water was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Air con was needed and this worked well in all the villas. The gardens were beautiful and I loved watching all the birds and lizards in the trees.

The actual villa is great, but the area is not pleasant for a number of reasons. There was a terrible smell that came and went throughout the day and night, making poolside relaxing unpleasant. I suspect was broken sewers somewhere nearby, pls there are many locals with roosters who are noisy day and night, which make it hard to sleep. It was hard to believe rural Ubud was noisier than downtown Seminyak. Also, I had hoped to be able to walk to places from the villa but the roads and traffic made this impossible. We walked to the padel courts one day and it was not safe, even our host suggested we should get a grab taxi. Taxis to Ubud were cheap but some days it took over 30 mins to get even 2km. None of this has anything to do with the villa - which was lovely - but these are important factors about the location that I wish I knew before booking.

Hidden Gem - Ubud

The place is amazing, a little paradise hidden near Ubud. Central location if you want to explore or perfect retreat to enjoy a relaxing stay, no need to leave. The staff make sure you have everything you need.

There is limited hot water if you want to run a bath. But let's be honest, with that weather "room temperature" was more than enough.

A tropical oasis away from the hustle

The villa was a tropical oasis. Separate buildings for bedrooms, living and kitchen. Simple furniture and designed for outdoor living. Lovely outdoor bathrooms. A central pool decorated with lights and an area for loungers. Plenty of seating options. Limited kitchen options if want to cook but why would you? Simple but good breakfast with tropical fruit plus choice of dish per person. Chickens were noisy but our body clocks meant we were up anyway! The hosts were contactable 24/7 but only nearby until 3 which was plenty - they could organise drivers for you.

Not really a negative - We thought it was a bit closer to Ubud than it was - its luck with the traffic but not too bad if you are prepared for it. Drivers were no issue and was nice to escape the hustle and hawkers and be in a non touristy area. Was truly nice to buy fruit at the local market and not be treated differently or prices hiked.

Great stay

Excellent property manager, very helpful in organising drivers, providing recommendations and really interesting walking tour to local market. Villa is a calm oasis, outside a very busy Ubud. Easy to get taxi or moto around. Villa Property is rented in its entirety and has 3, one bedroom bungalows with en suites within the compound, all surrounding the pool.

The privacy of villa, comfortable bed & pillows, delicious breakfast options served daily, amazing friendly accommodating staff, Big thank you to Ngurah ! large infinity pool, lush oasis garden and landscaping, the calm quite seclusion and serenity of villa and outdoor entertaining pergola area. 1. Bath tub hot water/pressure, was unable to cope with the demand for family of 5, hot water pressure very weak, couldn't take a single bath due to insufficient hot water supply, despite being advertised as villa with bathtub. 2. Next door currently under construction, with scaffolding overlooking our villa, didn't really bother us as we'were out exploring Ubud most of the day, returning in the afternoon, which then the construction workers would stop work and finish for the day. 4. Mosquitos, villa did provide local insect repellent, which was good, however mosquito's did manage to get into villas at night, suggestion for owner in installing mosquito net for all beds.

Beautiful Villa Sindu

The villa is beautiful, tidy, and impeccably clean. The garden is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. Mr. Ngurah was wonderful and courteous, and he gave us a lovely insight into Balinese culture. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to suit everyone's taste. It was a wonderful experience staying at the villa, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Really nice place to stay. Much better than I expected

The villa is beautiful, spacious and has everything I need. The swimming pool is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not humid at all and barely have any insects, which I was worried before I came. The room manager Ngurah is so friendly and helpful. He serviced us the breakfast every day, helped arrange the car and book reservations for dinner and gave us a tour to the local market and local house. My kids used the blender and made milkshakes by themselves, and Ngurah assisted them and clean up the mess they made. Really impressed. Highly recommended.

Great villa

The house is comfortable, you have everything to feel comfortable. The owner is a uniquely kind and friendly person. The breakfast is varied. The garden and the pool are like a small oasis. Ubud is 10 minutes away by taxi. We had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Feels like the garden of Eden, beautiful surrounds & nature sounds. Dewa, the host, was amazing! Nothing was a problem, free laundry & trips to Ubud, we couldn’t ask for more.

A beautiful place with amazing hosts

A beautiful little oasis, calm and tranquil. Host (sorry I cannot remember his name!) was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were lovely. Breakfast was great! Our kids loved the fish in the pond. We only stayed one night but would love to come back and stay for longer next time. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had the whole place to ourselves. The garden and pool area are amazing. Staff is super friendly and really makes you feel welcome and appreciated. After the crazyness of Ubud this place is really relaxed.

delightful clean tropical Villa with pool and super helpful staff.

this is a gorgeous little oasis of tropical lushness with 3 seperate villas with verandahs and a great little pool, gazebo and shared kitchen. it was perfect for our family of 6 and our grand daughter felt secure and was delighted with the nature all around. Staff were amazing, even did our washing for free and drove us into the town. and picked us up, in all the traffic! great wifi and facilities.

it was a fair way from the town…. not a problem but the traffic was so heavy it took us a long time. some restaurants nearby but hard to investigate in the rain. the staff did their very best to help.

Villa Sindhu Ubud - thoroughly recommend!

The facilities were great, very clean. The cleanliness was better than other 5 star resorts I have stayed in. The staff went above and beyond. Breakfasts were amazing. Dewa was a great host, Made and Kadek were very attentive and they all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional.

Loved the location, rooms, food and atmosphere of the Villa. Everything was incredibly clean and there were thoughtful touches added throughout the space. Outstanding service from Dewa and Kadek who were so accomodating throughout our stay and helped make our holiday a memorable one. This was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy everything Bali has to offer.

This place is paradise with the loveliest hosts imaginable

The best place we have stayed at in my life. By a lightyear. Period. Dewa and his family have been the most welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts you can imagine. You will reside like kings and will be treated as such. Amazing facilities, beautiful pool and living areas, lush, well kept garden. Perfect place. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Superb

Dewar, Kadik and Madi are the most accomdating and polite hosts. It was a nice surprise to find out Kadik and Madi were there to help you from 8am to 4pm each day. As we did not expect or need help, we asked if they were able to go home early, which was no problem. The facilities and whole property are beautifully kept and relaxing . We booked a 1 bed villa for 2 people and had the whole place to ourselves, as Dewar does not allow the other 2 villas to be booked. Breakfast was very good and filling. We would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway from the hussel.

Villa Sindu was everything and more that we could ever ask for in vacation. The property is beautiful, landscape is well maintained, villas are extremely clean, Wi-Fi is fast, food is excellent, and most importantly the staff is extremely friendly, spoke great English, and always accommodating. Dewa is a very good host!

A TRUE BALI LUXURY

the villa was beautiful and the staff were even better! wish we stayed longer. the place was clean, spacious and the breakfast was so so yummy. the owner answered all my questions and accommodated requests perfectly. all the staff were friendly and respectful. rooms were cleaned daily and the staff kept the outdoor area neat and tidy. 5 stars!!! really loved having netflix in each room and the amenities for our stay. the beds were super comfy and the location was quiet = the best sleep ever! we also got scooters delivered directly to the villa which saved us time to enjoy ubud. thank you to everyone at villa sindu ubud. we will return the future for sure!

A piece of paradise!

This place is fantastic! It was our first accommodation in Bali and we couldn’t have chosen better. It’s well located, very clean and with a unique energy. Dewa and the other members of the staff took really care of us and we are glad and grateful to have stayed there. We hope to go back soon!

lovely family time!

It feels like home! The owner and staffs are incredible, so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with yummy drink. Every room has their beautiful outdoor room with bathtub. Rooms are very clean, they provided a lot of towels. The location might be not really in the middle of city but that's what i like. It's so quite. You may find some animals like frog in the bathroom because their location is in the midst of nature, so don't be surprised! i am sad that we stay only 1 night, i wish i stay longer.

Exceptional

Nothing could have prepared us for the arduous and gruelling endeavour that was our departure from Australia to Bali and after two delays and a resulting flight cancellation, to say we were at breaking point when we finally arrived at the villa is an understatement. What should have been a lunchtime arrival on Tuesday turned into a 3am arrival Thursday, and our expectations for an enjoyable holiday were pretty low by this point. We arrived at Villa Sindu just after 3 a.m., expecting to just use the key (left in the lock box) and go inside & collapse. To our delight, our host Dewa greeted us at the Villa gates, provided us with delicious drinks, and as he welcomed us inside, we were left completely speechless. Awaiting us was nothing short of paradise on earth! Lush gardens, 3 villas all beautifully made up with outdoor bathrooms (for the ultimate experience in nature) & a magnificent sparkling pool - ALL TO OURSELVES!!! From the moment we entered the gates, to the day we sadly said goodbye, we received impeccable service from all the staff, warmth, love and kindness without comparison to any other and experienced relaxation that just cannot be conveyed in a single review. Highlights to Villa Sindu, Ubud: ♡ 5 minute walk to the markets where you can purchase everything from fresh produce, clothing, gifts, and meals for no more than $1.50. A pharmacy, mini mart, and other conveniences are also located within a shirt radius to the Villa, all accessible by foot.
